SERVICE PROJECT: CARD CARE CONNECTION ARTICLE BY: JOHANNA LINDSEY S. J. We decorated the outside of the paper with different colors to show joy and happiness. We included drawings. Each person made 23 cards. For, me I said "keep smiling. . . I want to send you a hug. . . you are one-inmelon(with a melon drawn). " While making the cards, there was music playing. By doing this card making, we are able to extend out encouragement and smile to kids and elders. ARTICLE BY: HENRY T. A card shows that you care, and is an easy created but effective piece. Showing that you care is something that we all want to strive and do, something we want to do. It is something that shows that care is there. Not everything is as easy as giving at all time, but giving something is more than nothing. A card is more than it may seem, and is very effective.

SERVICE PROJECT: EARTH DAY GRAPHICS ARTICLE BY: ALLEN M. This week for the service project, we did graphics for Earth day. They were about global warming and climate change. I made four slides using Canva while listening to music. I requested some of my favorite "older" songs while working on the project. This week's project was important because climate change effects us all and we all have to do our part to fight against it! Earth day is a one day thing where we express our love for the planet we live on. But shouldn't we be celebrating it everyday? Our planet is our only real home, no other planet with oxygen in which we can inhabit. We have one Earth, one home, one place, and it is a beautiful place that we must protect. Even though Earth day may be a day to recognize and help our planet, it should be an everyday thing that we must protect it at all costs. The Earth day project was amazing due to the canva and graphic art we designed. It is amazing to reduce paper use and instead use electronic art to be displayed where everyone gets to see! I love this project as I am able to present projects that are earth related and share my opinions on it! I specifically created the Amazon Rainforest project, reduce carbon emissions, and the worry about climate change. Overall, this project was memorable!

As a freshman at Jefferson, I was honored to not only be invited by Elizabeth Wang for a few meetings, but to get an award! It was fun making letters for those going through a tuff time during the pandemic and senior citizens. It is unfortunate that I haven't been able to go to more meetings because of my busy schedule and was invited in the months nearing summer, but next year I'm planning to join 100%. If for some reason I can't, I'll for sure stop by in meetings. I am also glad I get to work with a close friend of mine I met through ASB Carlos Menendez! I am excited to see what happens to key club in my years at Jefferson ^~^.
