Welcome New Urology Interns

The Department of Urology welcomed our new class of incoming residents on June 20, 2020. This outstanding group of three physicians are amongst the best and brightest medical school graduates in 2020, and we are honored to have them as trainees in our Department.

Courtney Capella, M.D is a graduate of Dickinson College and joins us from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.

Maria D’Amico M.D. completed her undergraduate degree at Columbia University and attended medical school at Boston University.

Joon Yau “JY” Leong, M.D. completed his undergraduate training at the International Medical University in Malaysia and graduated from Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He was honored wit the SKMC 2020 Dolores Byrne Senior Award in Urology.
