Antique Lamb A-2 Jacket Style # Z2567MM - Modeled on the classic A-2, the outer shell of this version is constructed from 100% specially tanned antique lamb.

The jacket boasts top and side entry pockets, a snap down collar, underarm ventilation grommets, leather epaulets along with knit cuffs and waistband. Other components include a hidden pen pocket concealed under the left pocket flap and two inside chest pockets. A diamond quilted lining contains an all-season soft polyester insulation with an applique featuring two embroidered American flags and silk screened with similar patriotic historical embellishments.

WWII Government Issue A-2 Jacket

USAF 21st Century A-2 Jacket

Designed in 1931 as the standard flight jacket for the Army Air Corps.

For aviators, pilots, navigators, bombardiers and the like. The A-2 Bomber Jacket has stood the test of time as the standard Army Air Force leather flight jacket used in WWII and in Korea in 1950. Reinstituted in 1986, this classic leather jacket was originally created to keep its aircrew warm in the cockpit.

Style # Z21V41 - Following comments by Air Force pilots who requested practical modifications of the original version, redesigned in conjunction with Cockpit USA in 1987, this current version was issued and manufactured by Cockpit USA under contract with the USAF after 2000. Crafted from deluxe military original specified goatskin leather, the current issue A-2 features side and top entry pockets with snap close flap, interior lining pockets and a hidden inside pen pocket.

Style # Z2107H - Made famous by General Douglas MacArthur who wore his custom made horsehide A-2; manufactured with hardwearing military grade horsehide as originally specified in 1931, the leather shows the same natural creases, folds and graining details. Lined with authentic russet brown cotton blend and featuring top entry pockets, a snap down collar with hook and eye closure, underarm ventilation grommets, specification knit cuffs and waistband, leather epaulets and a brass zipper under the front storm flap. Reissue A-2 Jacket Style # Z2107G - In 1986, the Air Force Uniform Board at the Pentagon and the Product Development Group at Wright Patterson Airbase and Cockpit USA President Jeff Clyman worked jointly to recreate the iconic A-2 pilot’s jacket 43 years after the jacket had been decommissioned in 1943 during WWII. The jacket boasts a seven piece hand cut goatskin leather shell and many of the original features including a snap down collar with the original hook and eye neck closure, top entry pockets with snap close flaps, knit cuffs and waistband. Mustang A-2 Jacket © Style # Z21P008 - Cockpit USA, is proud to offer a limited edition re-issue of an original variant of the A-2 Air Army Force pilot’s jacket introduced as official uniform wear in 1931.

Designed in the 1930s for the US Navy, US Marine Corps, & US Coast Guard, the G-1 Flight Jacket originally called the goatskin M-422A Flight Jacket was modified at various times and has continued to be worn by US Naval Aviation personnel. Still used by the US Navy today, this classic style is worn by pilots, air crew, and aviation personnel with use extended to the random motorcyclist or adventure seeker.

100 Mission™ B-3 Bomber Jacket

1941 Pearl Harbor B-3 Bomber Jacket

Style # Z21A013 - Cockpit USA artisans have created a B-3 jacket which so accurately represents a combat worn garment that has seen at least 100 missions over enemy territory. It features a body of American shearling full fur sheepskin specially treated to give the look and feel of an aged and authentic garment. This historical jacket features the single leather front patch pocket, leather covered reinforced sleeves with original Air Force shoulder decal and shoulder tabs on which officers rank may be attached. Vintage labeling and heavy latigo aged leather belting straps on each side of the waist and heavy belting straps around the snap down shearling collar, another original feature, makes this a classic must have. His trademarks were his two 1876 single action Army ivory handled Colt 45 pistols and his custom design B-3 sheepskin jacket. Our replica of his B-3 jacket is individually hand cut, stitched, and finished by American craftsmen, using shearling pelts and features leather epaulets for shoulder rank, leather arm reinforcements and side entry hand warmer pockets.
