Human activity is rapidly turning our beautiful planet into a garbage dump. The oceans and beaches are being impacted the most. By 2025 there will be more plastic in the oceans than fish. Together J.D. STARON and CARPET MAKER are attempting to make a difference with the help of a revolutionary technology that can turn ocean plastic waste into a silk-like yarn, we call “MONSILK”. In collaboration with the Thai government and countless volunteers, we gather plastic ocean waste and turn it into our incredible “MONSILK” yarn.
