Buddy Bingo Night

Family Craft Project Decorate your very own snowflake at your home! Snowflakes are made of unfinished wood and are approximately 4’x4’ in size. Stakes and bolts are included to display the snowflake in your yard. This craft project is a great activity for the whole family! Flakes are available for pick up Nov 28 through Jan 30. Holi is all about the festival of colors and new beginnings! Holi welcomes the Spring season and celebrates the end of Winter! Club Kid is committed to providing a safe, supervised environment for Todd and Rutledge Hall families that need after-school care. This well rounded program features homework help, arts and crafts, athletics and more. An afternoon snack will be provided. At time of registration, a $200 nonrefundable deposit is due. Day: Tuesday Young Rembrandts drawing class will awaken their creativity. Our first lesson explores shape recognition as they create colorful patterns using basic geometric shapes. Winter-themed drawings like snow globes and ice skates will spark their imaginations. Additionally, they’ll have a blast drawing adorable cowboys and fearsome tyrannosaurus rex, making it a great introduction to the world of animal drawing. Days: Wednesday & Saturday The Music Together program taught by Harmonious Horizons groups children of a variety of ages in family-style learning. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating the older ones; older children learn by leading younger ones and adults enjoy having their whole family in one class together. Each child participates at their own level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching, and exploring musical instruments. No equipment needed. Magic Class Children are guaranteed to have a great time as they learn a collection of fascinating and mesmerizing tricks from the “Magic Team of Gary Kantor!” Amaze family and friends with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mindreading, and more. All materials are provided, and each child receives a magic kit to take home. Children are grouped by age and always learn tricks that are age appropriate. Additionally, you can sign up for this class again and again since brand new tricks are always taught at each session! Winter Fantasy Princess Glam Night Come beat the Winter slump and join us for a night of glam with a unicorn rainbow fantasy theme. Design a beautiful, beaded bracelet with a fantasy charm assortment. Staff will play music and have props and a backdrop to take photos before class ends for parents. Parent/Child: Make Memories for Mom Night

Come join us for a night of spreading love and happiness! We will give each participant a pampering of glam with a hairdo, makeup sparkle and nail polish application. Each participant will decorate a unique craft with peace, hearts, and rainbow accents along with paints and personalization. Participants will design a cool beaded bracelet with a peace-love charm. The night will end with retro lights dance party to popular songs! A “peace offering” goes home with each guest! Sign up with your friends! Come join us on a date for some special memories for mom! TENNIS & PICKLEBALL PROESEL PARK OUTDOOR TENNIS & PICKLEBALL Lincolnwood Tennis Club R/NR: $60 per season (May 1-October 31) Members of the Tennis Club can reserve time at Proesel, Flowers, and Central parks by phone four days in advance of play. Reservation Dates: May 1-October 31. Call 847.745.4719 to make a court reservation Monday-Friday from 9 am-5 pm. NOTE: A Tennis Club Member must be on the court during reserved time.

Reserving Court Time Parks & Recreation Department programs, lessons and Tennis Club members have first priority on the courts. Tennis Club Member may reserve up to two hours per day at $15 an hour.

Proesel Park Pickleball Net Rental There will be two permanent pickleball nets on-site at all times Players are welcome to bring in and use their own nets Players who wish to rent a net must do so at the Community Center, and leave a $30 refundable deposit (Paddles & balls are not included in rental) Net rental is good for up to 24 hours (Friday rentals are expected to be returned the following Monday)

Established in 1955, Lincolnwood Parks & Recreation Department serves the Village of Lincolnwood. The Department offers classes and programs at the Lincolnwood Community Center, Proesel Park Aquatic Center and the Proesel Park Pavilion. Neighborhood parks and paths can be found in 15 locations throughout the village.

The Lincolnwood Parks & Recreation Department is committed to providing high quality recreation programs and services. We want everyone to be satisfied with their recreation experiences. If you are not completely satisfied with our programs or services, please contact us as soon as possible.

Due the large amount of information included in each season brochure, errors may occur. There may be last minute changes in days and times of classes, registration requirements, and fees once the brochure has gone to print. You will be advised in a timely manner of any changes. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

General refunds will be granted when requested five full working days before the start of a program. All refunds are subject to a 10% administrative fee and will be mailed in the form of a check within 4-6 weeks of your request.

Photographs and videos are periodically taken of participants while they are engaging in programs, special events, or enjoying the parks. Please be aware that these photos and videos may appear in local newspapers, Village publications, cable access program or on the Village website.

AFTER-HOURS DROP OFF REGISTRATION Place your completed registration form in a sealed envelope in the 24-hour brown drop box located in the front of the Municipal Complex in the circular drive. Checks and credit cards only. Make checks payable to the Village of Lincolnwood.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES Registration forms are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. To register for a class you must complete a registration form including participant name and program name. One family per registration form. All classes have minimums and maximums. Sign up a minimum of two weeks prior to the start of the class to avoid class cancellations.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE A PROGRAM STARTS? We understand that there may be a time when the program you registered for didn’t match your needs. If that is the case, we encourage you to share your feedback, ideas and suggestions for improvement as soon as possible. If we are unable to work through it together, we will refund you for all the classes not attended less a 10% administrative fee.

IN THE CASE OF ILLNESS, EMERGENCY, OR RELOCATION Should you need to discontinue the program due to an illness, emergency, or relocation, we ask that you submit proof of relocation or a written medical explanation from a physician. Upon receipt, we will refund for all the classes not attended less a 10% administrative fee.

DEPARTMENT CANCELLATION In the event a program does not meet minimum registration, the class may be canceled with full refunds issued.

MAINE-NILES ASSOCIATION OF SPECIAL RECREATION (M-NASR) Since 1972, M-NASR has provided and facilitated recreation programs and services for children, teens and adults with disabilities. We are an extension of the park districts in Des Plaines, Golf-Maine, Morton Grove, Niles, Park Ridge, Skokie, and Lincolnwood’s Parks and Recreation Department. M-NASR offers a wide range of recreation programming, both in person and virtual. Programs include athletics, adaptive sports, camps, cultural arts, social opportunities, special events and much more. M-NASR’s full time recreation staff have therapeutic recreation backgrounds and all programs are designed with the cognitive, psychological, social and physical needs of participants in mind. M-NASR programs are offered throughout our member districts. M-NASR participants may register for all programs regardless of location and transportation is available to select programs.
