Welcome to Jeremiah Donier’s Human Services Portfolio My work centers on strengthening families, lived-experience leadership, and helping human services systems become more responsive, equitable, and community-centered. • 2025: Earned a Master of Public Administration with a 3.97 GPA. • 2021–2023: Served as a Lived Expert with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Equity Technical Assistance Center, helping develop guidance for engaging and hiring people with lived experience. • 2021–2022: Wrote for Fostering Families Today, highlighting research and parent perspectives to help reduce stigma surrounding child welfare involvement. • 2016–2023: Served as a Parent Advisor to Casey Family Programs, contributing lived-experience perspectives to child welfare policy, including the Family First Prevention Services Act. • 2015–2022: Served as a Children’s Bureau Family Consultant. • 2013–2023: Partnered with the Children’s Trust Fund Alliance to advance the Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework. • 2016–2020: Developed Dads: Making a Difference engagement tools and became a Prepare-Enrich trained facilitator. • 2015: Trained as a Nurturing Fathers Program facilitator. • 2011–2012: Inaugural American Bar Association Unification Hero, after sharing my story and collaborating to establish criteria for the annual recognition of child welfare leaders. • 2009–2013: Joined the Washington State Parent Ally Network, launched a local chapter, and contributed to the Dependency 101 Handbook and HOPE (Helping Other Parents Engage) mentoring concept, which helped build Parents for Parents. • 2007: After navigating a complex child welfare case and unifying my family, I began volunteering in human services while managing a nonprofit print shop.
