PLC DESIGNING & SIMULATING LADDER PROGRAMS
Description: The objective of this webinar/seminar is to provide the information on how the participants understand on how to use the software about creating and/or entering PLC ladder programs and simulate using Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley software. As to present date, Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley Processor is propriety programmable logic controller that RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, RSLogix Studio are the primary software that can only access Allen Bradley family processor. The participant will gain understanding in the field of designing controllers to control the operation of industrial automation and process. The technological advancements over the last decades have led to the combined use of PLC. The controlling unit in building management automation system is also a PLC from DDC to PLC, PLC is better more powerful control and process device.
Objectives: To be able to understand the concept design of Ladder Programs based on PLC IEC Standard 61131-3 (Program Language). Participant will be able to practice creating ladder program design using the RSLogix 500, RSLinx and RSLogix Emulate500. Participant will also learn how the PLC evolution over the years.
Synopsis: Technology is keep evolving and developing in the process industry, automation industry and building automation from Direct Digital Controller (DDC) to Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to Programmable Automation Controller (PAC). PLC had come a long way over the last 50 years with improved overall hardware and programming functionality, and so that in short it describes the differences between a PLC and a PAC. PLC’s have evolved into PAC’s. In Building Automation System from Direct Digital Controllers (DDC) to a better and power control and process device called Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
The IEC Standard 61131-3 Programming Language - defines the PLC Programmer to choose one of the five (5) PLC Standards that had been develop thousands of years ago and because of the new technologies, automation is way far beyond our expectations. And that local programming standards (refer to your customer) will usually specify what language you will use
