JENNIFER R. MILES, MD recently joined ENT Associates. Dr. Miles completed her residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC, in June of this year after obtaining her MD status at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

SHE HOLDS MEMBERSHIPS IN THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF OTOLARYNGOLOGY—HEAD & NECK SURGERY AS WELL AS THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF OTOLARYNGIC ALLERGY.

Dr. Miles is originally from the Atlanta area. She and her husband are happily living in downtown Savannah along with their son. In her spare time, she enjoys running and spending time with their miniature schnauzer.

A Great Day on the Course Supports Pooler Lions Club

The Pooler Lions Club held their 6th Annual “Chipping for Charity” Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 1, at Crosswinds Golf Club. All proceeds from the tournament will fund the Pooler Lions Club Charity Fund and support their work helping the blind and visually impaired.

Thanks to all our golfers who came to enjoy this beautiful day on the course.

Tournament Winners

The first place team was Mark Zipperer, Darrell Harris, Derrick Arthur and Jeff Martin. Second place team was Bob Barker, Matthew Barker, Pete Jeron and Bai Jeron. The third place team was George Schnurr, Ken Strati, Mike Lemire and Jeff South. Fourth place team was Ronald Nantz, Lee Anderson, Merv McCoy, and Dave Williamson. Runner-up team was Joe Macchia, Roger Logston, Greg Kingery and John Imrornoni. The Top Scoring Public Safety Team Award went to Lou Manuel, Kenny Deloach, Ken Leidy and Matt Hewett. Longest Drive went to Bai Jeron and Closest to the Pin at 3’ 2” went to Derrick Arthur. The Top Performance Award with the closest to the $1,000 cash prize for a Holein-One went to Jeff Wichman.
