ONGRATULATIONS to the 2025 JCK Jewelers’ Choice Award winners!
First things first: Let’s pause for a moment to admire the gold necklace that earned Norman Silverman Diamonds this year’s grand prize. Featuring more than 72 carats of perfectly matched pear-shape yellow diamonds, the choker is both a magnificent piece of investment-grade diamond jewelry and a chic accessory that hits all the right fashion notes.
At $800,000, it’s one of the competition’s more upscale winners (to say the least). But because the JCAs celebrate great design, no matter the price point, you’ll find all kinds of fetching jewels in this Best of the Best supplement. Take the $3,500 Ornata Ophidia Rose Duo ring from Ides Fine Jewels, which took home the prize for best ring design. With its hand-engraved double-headed 14k gold snake, the ring is perfectly timed for the Year of the Snake.
Likewise, Parlé’s winning earrings, a pair of alluring green jade drops complemented by blue-green Montana sapphires and matching Tahitian pearls, along with diamonds, manage to capture the zeitgeist without stepping too far into fleeting trend territory.
While all of the designs noted above are united by their use of richly saturated colors, don’t for a minute think we’ve grown tired of the classic diamond solitaire. On the contrary, we took one look at the 4.01 ct. elongated oval diamond ring in Miami-based designer Vanessa Fernández’s winning “best diamond design” entry and instantly swooned—as would any bride lucky enough to receive it.
