This report details the activities and accomplishments of the National Vice President overseeing JCI Nigeria's South West District 2, during the dynamic first quarter of 2024. The core focus was on implementing the SEE Agenda (Sustainable Structure, Efficient Projects and Programs, and Engagements with other organizations) to foster long-term growth within the district. This resulted in a surge in collaboration among Local Organizations (LOs), empowered future leaders, and delivered impactful initiatives that directly addressed community needs.
Key Highlights:
Championed the SEE Agenda through presentations, workshops, and strategic planning sessions across various LOs. This resulted in a measurable increase in membership retention, project efficiency, and external partnerships forged by district chapters.
Actively participated in and contributed to LO meetings, Officer Training Schools (OTS), and leadership summits, fostering strong relationships and providing valuable guidance for chapter development. Inspired young minds and promoted community service through participation in youth-focused events like the JCIN UNIIBADAN InterSecondary School Competition and the Grand Finale of the Smith Waheed Gbolahan Secondary School Competition.
Played a pivotal role in capacity building by serving as a trainer at numerous forums, equipping LO members with essential skills for membership growth, program execution, and effective communication. Contributed to district expansion by witnessing the birth of JCI Kwara (Protem) and application for the provisional affiliation of JCI Osogbo Central (Protem).

SEE Agenda Champion: Delivered presentations on the SEE Agenda at JCI Osogbo Oroki and JCI Odua February General Assemblies, emphasizing sustainable structures, efficient programs, and external partnerships.

Mental Health Awareness: Collaborated with JCI Olubodan and Asido Foundation on a two-day Mental Health Awareness project across St. Anne Schools and Loyola College.
Youth Recognition: Attended the Grand Finale of the Smith Waheed Gbolahan Secondary School Competition, themed on "Entrepreneurship & Innovation towards Sustainable Development Goals", delivering a speech and presenting awards.
Leadership Exchange: Participated in discussions at the Otunba Bola Adewumi Leadership Summit hosted by JCI Lagos Metropolitan.
Network Strengthening: Engaged in meet-and-greet sessions with Local Presidents and the Executive Vice President (Southwest) in Lagos and Ibadan, fostering collaboration.
Promoting Inclusivity: Attended the Elite Commemoration of Down Syndrome Day Symposium with JCI Ibadan Elite, emphasizing JCI's commitment to diversity and social inclusion.
Expansion: Witnessed the birth of JCI Kwara (Protem) and reviewed the activities of JCI Osogbo Central (Protem) for the past, marking significant growth milestones.
Member Engagement: Participated in the JCI Ibadan Folusho Oluleye National Sport Competition and addressed the JCI Ibadan Elite Business Meeting, encouraging continued progress.
The 2024 International Women's Day event organized by JCI Lagos City on March 24, 2024, was a resounding success, celebrating the achievements and contributions of women globally. The program featured a series of inspiring speeches, panel discussions, and interactive workshops focusing on various aspects of women's empowerment.
Key highlights of the event included:
● Renowned speakers and activists delivered powerful talks on topics such as gender equality, women's leadership, entrepreneurship, and breaking barriers in maledominated industries.
● Engaging panel discussions explored critical issues facing women today, including access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and strategies for fostering inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
● Participants had the chance to connect, collaborate, and network with like-minded individuals and organizations committed to advancing women's rights and empowerment.
The event not only celebrated the achievements of women but also served as a platform for meaningful dialogue, advocacy, and action towards a more equitable and inclusive world. It highlighted the ongoing efforts of JCI Lagos City in championing gender equality, women's empowerment, and the advancement of women's rights.
BREAKFAST WITH CEO challenges and seize opportunities confidently. The event showcased JCI Lagos City's commitment to nurturing visionary leaders for a brighter future.
In the 2024 Breakfast with CEO event hosted by Ms. Ifedayo Agoro, CEO of Dang Lifestyle Limited, young leaders participated in an exclusive entrepreneurial development masterclass. The program aimed to inspire and equip them with business and personal growth opportunities. Participants gained insights from Ms. Agoro's experience, empowering them to navigate
At the matriculation awareness event orchestrated by JCIN UNILORIN, matriculated students were treated to a special and engaging experience. The event featured an informative program, where matriculated students had the chance to familiarize themselves with JCI and interact with their peers. The Local Organization set up a photo booth for the matriculation program therein placards, cut-out frames, freebies, and many more. As part of the festivities, members of the Local Organization were also interviewed, offering valuable insights into their perspectives and experiences so far in JCI which emphasizes on the importance of JCI and its impact on the students futures.
Furthermore, JCIN UNILORIN showcased its dedication to community service by generously providing complimentary professional photos for the matriculating students. This thoughtful gesture allowed students to capture this significant academic milestone with high-quality images. The event left a lasting impression on everyone involved, and students expressed their excitement and gratitude for the unique opportunity.
The necessary details were collected from the matriculated students to ensure the seamless delivery of their photos. This process not only facilitated the distribution of memorable pictures but also served as a strategic avenue to introduce the students to JCI. By gathering their information, The Local Organization established a means to maintain ongoing engagement, offering more information about JCI and its various activities to the students.

The event provided a comprehensive overview of JCI mission and vision. Attendees actively engaged in discussions on how they could contribute to JCI goals. Tangible reasons were presented, motivating intending members to join the organization.
Following the event, during the March General Assembly, we proudly inducted three new members into JCI Ota and others to be inducted in APRIL.

The event witnessed a significant increase in attendance, demonstrating its appeal to both active and inactive members.
Notably, over 13 women participated in the General Assembly, reflecting our commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
Attendees enjoyed a jovial atmosphere, coming together to celebrate and share in the spirit of unity and fellowship.
In the spirit of fostering bonds among members and celebrating the love season in February, JCI Continental Lagos hosted the Love Feast House Party.
This event served as a delightful opportunity for members to bond, unwind, and forge deeper connections in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. It provided a refreshing break from the routine, allowing members to step away from the formalities of meetings and events and simply enjoy each other’s company.
Throughout the evening, laughter and joy filled the air as members engaged in a variety of interactive activities designed to strengthen bonds and create memorable experiences.
Icebreaker games sparked lively conversations and broke down barriers, while group activities encouraged collaboration and teamwork, fostering a sense of unity and belonging among attendees. A highlight of the event was the heartfelt exchange of gifts, where members had the opportunity to express appreciation for one another. This gesture of kindness and generosity exemplified the spirit of love and mutual support that defines our community. Of course, no celebration is complete without delicious food and drinks, and the Love Feast House Party did not disappoint. Mouthwatering refreshments added to the festive ambiance and ensuring that everyone left with a full heart and a satisfied appetite. The Love Feast House Party had not only brought members closer together but had also reaffirmed the bonds of friendship that unite us as a community. We look forward to many more memorable gatherings in the future as we continue to strengthen our bonds and build an even stronger and more connected community within JCI Continental Lagos.

On the 15th and 16th of March, 2024, our community came together for the first edition, which was an immersive experience aimed at honing skills and fostering personal growth. The turnout was nothing short of remarkable, with over 40 enthusiastic participants in attendance. This exceptional level of engagement reflects the unwavering dedication and enthusiasm of our members towards their journey of self-improvement and professional enhancement.
On the first day of our Skill Up Weekend, we had the privilege of hosting Dr. Iwuala Nkechi, who delivered an insightful session on the importance of personal hygiene, rest, and proper nutrition. Dr. Nkechi provided valuable guidance on maintaining optimal health and wellbeing through simple yet impactful lifestyle practices. Participants learned practical strategies for prioritizing self-care, including establishing healthy sleep habits, practicing good hygiene routines, and making nutritious food choices. Dr. Nkechi's expertise and passion for promoting holistic wellness left attendees inspired and motivated to adopt healthier lifestyle habits.
Continuing our quest for skill enhancement, we welcomed Ayo-Bankole Akintujoye on the second day of our Skill Up Weekend. Ayo-Bankole led an engaging session on the art of business writing, offering valuable insights and techniques for effective communication in the professional sphere. Participants gained valuable knowledge on crafting clear, concise, and persuasive written communication, from drafting professional emails to composing impactful business documents. Ayo-Bankole’s expertise and interactive approach made the session both informative and enjoyable, leaving attendees equipped with practical skills to excel in their professional endeavors.

The unveiling of the Junior Chamber International Nigeria, Yaba College of Technology monument, held on Saturday, 16th of March, 2024 at the School complex, YABATECH, was a success through the presence of dear attendees.
Dignitaries present at the monument unveiling were: Jackson Ayika, 2020 Local Organization President; Egberongbe Simbiat, 2022 Local Organization President; Adebisi Okanlawon, 2016 Chairman of Monument/ 2016 JCIN Collegiate Director of Training; Badmus AbdulRahmon Olamilekan, 2020 Director of Publicity; Comrade Morakinyo Ola Olusola(YABATECH SUG President) ably represented by Comrade Fadu Asiwaju, Yabatech SUG PRO; RT. Hon. Akinniyi Akinwande, Senate President Yabatech SUG/2023 JCIN Yabatech Director of Publicity; Hon comrade. Bamidele Victor, Deputy Chief Judge Yabatech SUG/2024 JCIN Yabatech Director of Finance.
Moderating the event was Tiwalade Alonge who welcomed everyone to the event by calling out JCIN YABATECH President, Kadiri-Lawal Zainab who gave the opening speech. The President expressed her delight seeing the fair number of attendees who came to witness the unveiling of the monument. She said that ”this monument, I was told was first mounted by Adebisi Okanlawon, 2016 Chairman of the Monument who is also present today, in which many other Presidents before her had planned to renovate it but unsuccessful due to some unforeseen circumstances . But it was successful today with the financial support of one of the Past Presidents; Olugbenga Adeleye, 2006 Local
Organization President, as well as the encouragement of others.
Representing YABATECH SUG President, Comrade. Morakinyo Ola Olusola, was the SUG PRO, Comrade. Fadu Asiwaju, who also expressed his delight as an attendee to grace the event. He assured that JCIN Yabatech is a welcome Association in the College therefore the SUG body will in turn safeguard the monument and support all its activities being in the interest of the students under their watch.
RT. Hon. Akinniyi Akinwande, Senate President YABATECH SUG and Hon comrade. Bamidele Victor, Deputy Chief Judge YABATECH SUG, also assure that their respective offices would strive to support the Association within their jurisdiction so as to make all its plans concerning their students successful for the good of JCIN Yabatech and YABATECH.
Overwhelmed by the innovation, the 2016 Chairman of Monument/ 2016 JCIN Collegiate Director of Training, Adebisi Okanlawon said he was happy to see the monument he started being his project then, come to life again. “I was afraid that what would stand as an imprint in the College was almost forgotten as it was no more decent to behold, but thanks to the 2024 President, Kadiri-Lawal Zainab who took the monument renovation as a priority of her projects for the year.” The Chairman of the monument, Mabini Abdulhafeez Ajibola also expressed his joy and success to the glory of God who made the completion of the monument renovation a success especially the unveiling on the very day. He also thanked everyone who made it to the event. “I am very grateful.
The 2024 Ibadan joint OTS was hosted by JCI ODUA with attendance of other 3 Local Organizations, JCI OLUBADAN, JCI OLUYOLE AND JCI PREMIER. Held on February 4th, 2024 at the Education Advancement Center, Bodija Ibadan.

First Trainer JCI Senator Temi Alade-Mustapha trained us on Team Bonding. She engaged us in some physical exercise to explain how team bonding works and samples on how to bond a team. She further explained that Team Bonding is all about coming together as one and to do that we have to know our team members, the team must have one voice, We must work on time management and we have to brainstorm together to achieve common goals. She also engaged all first timers in a CUP game and this physical exercise still is on the aim on how to achieve team Bonding.
We also had in presence the JCI Nigeria 2010 National President JCI Senator Ayoade Abolusodun who came around to deliver an amazing ENVOY message to us on "Increasing Effectiveness in a work place" He was the second speaker. He took us through how we can effective in an organization at our work place as a team or an individual, He further explained the challenges one could be facing to be effective and how to get over them. JCI Senator Seun Osikalu 2015 National President JCI Nigeria happens to be the third speaker at the Joint OTS gave us a mind-blowing training on Leadership and Team work. His session was really mind-blowing and highly insightful as we were grouped into two and each groups was asked to look for any objects that that starts with the English Alphabet A-Z. All attendees were able to bond through this physical exercise and we also get to know ourselves better. We were trained on different styles of leadership, the traits of a great leader and how leadership should be portrayed to followers. INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT COLLOQUIUM (IDC) 5.0 HELD AS A VIRTUAL SESSION ON THE 10TH OF MARCH AND THE FINALE HELD ON THE 17TH OF MARCH, 2024 AT RADDISSON HOTEL, IKEJA GRA, LAGOS STATE.
The JCI Atlantic Individual Development Colloquium (IDC) 5.0, inspired by the JCI RISE pillar; Empowering workforce, aims to empower young individuals by providing access to opportunities for global development by offering a dynamic platform for personal and professional growth.
With the theme -Global Frontiers, Local Influence: Levering Global Opportunities for Personal and Local Impact. The JCI Atlantic "I.D.C" 5.0 featured keynote speakers - Mr. Ifeoluwa Martins, who highlighted the factors that influence globalization, including capital mobility, cultural exchange and media, economic integration, and technological advancement, Osariemen Omoruyi Shobanke who provided practical tips on how to apply for scholarships and Dr. Jean Njab (PHD), who shared insights on remote and full-time opportunities with the importance of integrity in publishing.
Throughout the event, attendees were treated to a rich tapestry of experiences, from thought-provoking keynote speeches to hands-on workshops, vibrant networking sessions, and impactful project showcases. With each session, participants gained valuable insights, honed essential skills, and forged meaningful connections, all geared towards advancing their personal and professional development.

In the bustling city of Lagos, on the 8th of March, 2024, leaders and members of local organizations converged at the elegant Alluring Hotel to welcome Executive Vice President Southwest JCI Nigeria, JCIN Amb Segun Omotosho, to a simple yet powerful MEET & GREET aimed to unite progress.
As members mingled, exchanging smiles and introductions, the atmosphere buzzed with anticipation. Each person brought with them a unique perspective and a shared commitment to driving positive change in their Local Organizations.
JCIN Amb Segun Omotosho, a beacon of leadership, welcomed the gathering with warmth and enthusiasm. His words set the stage for an inspiring discussion, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and collective action in tackling common challenges.
Throughout the event, discussions flowed freely, touching upon a myriad of topics. From the upcoming Southern Conference in the city of Uyo, to the intricacies of ongoing programs from different Local Organizations, every aspect of members leadership development was explored with passion and vigor.
The SEE Agenda took center stage, igniting fervent dialogue on how local efforts could be aligned with global sustainability goals through Sustainable Structure, Engagement and Efficiency. Adding his voice, the Executive Secretary JCI Nigeria, JCI Sen. Adeyemo Adeonipekun shared innovative ideas and success stories, inspired by the potential for meaningful impact.
Financial sustainability was also on the agenda, with leaders brainstorming strategies to ensure the long-term viability
of their organizations. From creative partnership initiatives to prudent financial management, the room brimmed with entrepreneurial spirit and determination.
Earlier the day, the Executive Vice President paid a courtesy visit to the JCI Nigeria National Secretariat and also visited the JCI Nigeria 2014 President, JCI Sen. Seun Osikalu.
