Daniel WALTERS Candidate for the role of 2016 Local President La Vallette for Business
Background ▪ Born 20th April, 1990 in Melbourne, Australia and have been living in Malta since August 2013. ▪ Obtained a Bachelor of Biological Sciences degree from La Trobe University (Biochemistry & Molecular Biology) ▪ Focused on cancer research and preventive measures of disease. ▪ 2009-2013 - Medical Assistant in Cosmetic Medicine (Botox, filler and plastic surgery) ▪ 2014 -2015 - Sales & Marketing executive for Apple Inc.
NGO/JCI History ▪ I joined JCI this year with the intention to make a positive difference to local communities in Malta. ▪ Was elected Project Manager to develop programmes about the importance of intercultural integration between the locals and immigrants. ▪ Focused on the social and educational factors that were necessary to bring positive changes to the lives of citizens in Malta. ▪ Attended a seminar about intercultural diversity in Szeged, Hungary.

Facilitate the on-boarding of new members & exposing them to the movement behind JCI.

Maintaining and updating a new look members database. Including automation of membership renewal notifications.

Create a system to notify members more efficiently, through newsletters and SMS where applicable.
•
Identify through analysis of existing member data, where JCI excels, and gaps which need to be tackled to increase membership growth and Impact.
What I want to leave behind
