Getting to JCHS More than half of the students attending JCHS live outside of San Francisco. We are committed to making our students’ commutes to JCHS easy and efficient. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: We are centrally located near a number of MUNI lines including 2, 3, 4, 22, 31, 33 and 38. Discounted BART passes may be purchased at JCHS, and discounted MUNI passes may be purchased online. Our students often form commute groups, which provides them with a way to develop supportive relationships with one another across grades. EAST BAY: JCHS contracts with Quake City Shuttle to provide convenient round-trip service to students living in the East Bay. Morning pickups are available in Berkeley and Oakland for transportation service directly to JCHS. Afternoon pickups from JCHS bring students to BART and the Transbay Terminal. (2021-22 Cost: $2,650 round-trip; $1,625 one way) MARIN: JCHS contracts with First Student, Inc., to provide convenient round-trip bus service to students living in Marin County. The bus operates daily with one morning and two afternoon schedules. (2021-22 Cost: $2,875 round-trip; $1,725 one way) CALTRAIN: JCHS contracts with Quake City Shuttle to provide convenient round-trip service to students living in San Mateo County who take Caltrain. The shuttle operates daily with one morning and two afternoon schedules. (2021-22 Cost: $1,850 round-trip; $1,250 one way)
