Early Childhood Center The early childhood years are a crucial stage in a child’s physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. It’s when children need high quality care and learning experiences. The J’s Early Childhood Center provides such care and education that embraces the development of your child – mind, body and soul.

Infants & Toddlers 6 wks-2 yrs Starting as young as six weeks, our infant and toddler classrooms provide a caring and nurturing environment.

Our professional educators, along with our families, provide high-quality, individualized, responsive and stimulating experiences that will influence your child’s growth and learning experience.

Pre-Schoolers

3-5 yrs Our teachers deliver positive learning experiences to foster children’s intellectual, social and emotional development. We help children build cognitive skills, preparing them for success in multiple academic areas, including reading, math and science. Areas of focus also include character, social and emotional, gross motor and executive functioning.

Tippi Toes Dance Company® Ballet, Tap & Jazz Combo Class

3-5 yrs Experience the joys of dance, self-expression and movement through three types of dance with energetic music, culminating in a mini recital. Students should wear comfortable clothing (T-shirts are great) or dance attire along with nonrestrictive shorts or leggings – ballet shoes preferred, but not required (tap shoes not required).

Pre-K Academy Jr.

3-5 yrs Give your child a running start! This academic enrichment program offers play classes that teach reading readiness skills and letter writing. Children will participate in brainbuilding games that develop focus, memory and impulse control.

Letter Engineers (Visual-Spatial) Build letters with us! Students will begin to explore their creative sides by using objects such as LegosŠ, play dough, puppet pencils, letter sticks and more. Children will learn about physics and problem solving while strengthening their understanding of correct letter formation. No program 4/9, 4/15, 4/16.

Reading Rock Stars (Bodily Kinesthetic & Musical) Your child will go on a magic carpet ride through the world of language and literacy. We will practice rhyming, explore word families, learn sight words and begin simple decoding. Sports Wide World of Sports 3-5 yrs This introductory program teaches the basics in basketball, baseball, soccer and more. Children will have fun developing hand-eye coordination, agility, self-esteem and sports skills. All equipment is provided and age appropriate.

Start Smart Basketball 3-4 yrs A parent-child developmental program created to prepare three and four-year-olds for organized sports. Parents work with their children in a structured environment as they learn how to properly teach and support their children in sports.

Participants receive a t-shirt and a participation award. Parent participation is mandatory.

Basketball Training League 4-5 yrs Specifically designed for kids enrolled in Pre-K, this league starts with practices where players focus on learning how to shoot, dribble, pass and have fun playing as a team. The season concludes with games. Teams are coached by volunteer parents and consist of up to eight players. Games be played at either J location.

Start Smart Baseball

3 yrs This parent-child developmental program prepares three-yearolds for organized sports. Parents work with their children in a structured environment (involvement is mandatory) and learn how to properly teach and support their children in sports. Participants receive a t-shirt and award.

Pre-K Baseball Training League

Yong Shins / Little Ninjas

4-6 yrs Yong Shins and Little Ninjas is an introductory class into the world of Taekwondo. This nationally accredited program introduces discipline and respect with a focus on fitness, control and technique. Aquatics Splash Babies

Parents Becoming a Soulful Parent

Parents w/children 5 yrs and younger Grounded in Jewish wisdom, this six-week session guides participants to reflect on the kind of parent (and partner) they want to become and gives participants room to be honest about their struggles as an important first step in experiencing more joy as a parent. If you’d like to be less concerned with how your children behave, and more concerned with valuing your children as they are, then join us on a journey of Becoming a Soulful Parent.
