The remaining discovery groups were created by randomly selecting 25 % of the

remaining cases from each of the six (6) trial selection categories. Accordingly, each discovery

group has a mix of cases selected from the trial selection categories in proportion to the number
7
of cases in each category. See Ex. A, Nos. 1-129 (Group 1), Nos. 130-275 (Group 2), Nos. 276-

421(Group3), Nos. 422-567 (Group 4), and Nos. 568-711 (Group 5).

Group I: 129 Cases - Discovery Initiation Date: August l, 2016
a.
Group 1 is assigned a Discovery Initiation Date of August 1, 2016.
The
Initial Discovery Completion Date is December 1, 2016. b.
Pursuant to Second Amended CMO No. 5, Plaintiffs must serve a Long
Form PFS for each case in Group 1 by July 8, 2016.
c.
Defendants must notify Plaintiffs' Liaison Counsel and the individual

plaintiffs counsel in writing of any alleged deficiencies in a Long Form PFS within 10 calendar
16
days of service. Plaintiffs will have 10 calendar days from receipt of the deficiency notice to
17
cure. Defendants shall grant reasonable requests for extension of time for Plaintiffs to respond.

If Defendants have not already served a Defendant Fact Sheet ("DFS")

pursuant to Second Amended CMO No. 5 for any case in Group 1 with a timely completed Long

Form PFS, Defendants must serve a DFS by August 15, 2016.
