INTRO DUCTION Dear Royal ROYAL CIVILITY MAGAZINE “Royal Civility Magazine” is under the Royal Civility Global Initiative™ which is dedicated to helping people discover, develop, deliver and celebrate their true identity through God our Sovereign. We believe that everyone is valuable before God who made us in His own image and a person's gift is a solution to someone else. It is founded by Professor Julian Businge in England. Co-Founded by Professor Patrick Businge. We are honored to have a patron, Sir Clyde Rivers, the Founder and President of World Civility and I change Nations.

“Royal Civility Magazine” is dedicated to, educating, celebrating, promoting, and advertising outstanding individuals, African kingdoms and cultures, Royals around the world at various levels of business throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, and the USA. It’s the world’s only article dedicated to documenting, delivering life-changing stories, and celebrating Royalty in you.

We sincerely hope that as we celebrate our May edition 2021, in the UK and globally, of true service to our fellow Royals (children of God to the king of Kings), you will have an opportunity to read this first issue of our magazine which is intended to cover issues that positively inspire us, empower us and stories that make us celebrate each other for the great efforts to help humanity as a whole.

We are excited to celebrate some of our cultural African kingdom leaders. They indeed are African Royal Civility Humanitarians -their relentless work in helping the world.

The goal of this magazine is to build a bridge for Royal civility humanitarians globally to be able to make a greater impact together. We would like one voice, one sound that resonates with respect, love, kindness, security, safety, and substance that the world 3

desperately needs to hear. Our influence as children of God (Royal) transcends division and promotes unity. A movement that educates communities on how to be the best individual that they can be. THE PERSON: PROFESSOR PATRICK BUSINGE Born in Uganda, I did not let my circumstances characterised by poverty become my standard. Whist I lived in poverty, I did not let poverty live in me.

Following my dreams, while believing that no condition was permanent, I used education as my passport out of poverty. This belief led me to world-class universities such as the University of Exeter – one of the finest universities in the world – where I graduated with my Doctorate in Education. On my graduation day in 2015, the then Chancellor Baroness Floella Benjamin whispered into my ears, ‘Patrick, go and change the world’. At this point, I didn’t know how I was to actualize this. Today, five years later, looking back and connecting the dots, I can see how this is happening through founding Greatness University: the world’s first and only institution dedicated to discovering, developing, delivering sustaining, and celebrating greatness.

One of the key features of doing a Ph.D. in research. After five years of research, it has become my passion and hobby. I spend my free time researching about greatness and creating tools to help others do the same. In the past, I have researched kings like the Omukama.

Oyo of Tooro: the World’s Youngest Ruling Monarch. I have researched celebrities like Les Brown, the World’s Number 1 Motivational Speaker. I have also researched renowned church leaders like Archbishop Doye T Agama in the U.K. and Professor Simeon Kayiwa in Uganda. I have research institutions like The City of Refuge in Delaware, USA, and the Great Kingdom of Tooro in Uganda. This research has culminated in multiple books that document and preserve greatness for future generations.

In addition to greatness research, I have written peer-reviewed journal articles, published over 12 books, and co-authored with over 200 people.

Through my greatness coaching, mentoring, and consultation, I continue to help individuals, businesses, organisations, kingdoms, and nations right their lives and rewrite their future. In this endeavour, iChange Nations has created an award in my name titled: The Professor Patrick Businge Greatness Award which is given to people who have personally been mentored by me or emulate my example.

I also have been fortunate to hold international posts such as being a Representative to the United Nations where I work towards world peace and the right to education. I have received honorary doctorates for my contributions to education and humanity. I have also been honored to become a Distinguished Fellow of the Order of St. Hadrian of Canterbury: a fellowship bestowed upon me by the Apostolic Pastoral Conference for my work amongst the African diaspora.

First, one of the key features of doing a Ph.D. is research. After five years of doing doctoral research, it has become my passion and hobby. I spend my free time researching about greatness and creating tools to help others do the same. In the past, I have researched kings like the Omukama Oyo of Tooro: the World’s Youngest Ruling Monarch. I have researched celebrities like Les Brown, the World’s Number 1 Motivational Speaker. I have researched businessmen like Antonio T Smith Jr, the CEO of ATS Group of Companies. I have also researched renowned church leaders like Archbishop Doye T Agama in the U.K. and Professor Simeon Kayiwa in Uganda. I have research institutions like The Great Kingdom of Tooro in Western Uganda.

Currently, I am researching about the World’s Greatest Civility Humanitarian Mama Sarah Obama.

This research and legacy will be documented and preserved in this book for future generations. As you read this book, which will be out on her 99th birthday, you will discover that Mama Sarah Obama is at the heart of the African and American dream to greatness. She has shaped the African dream through her work as a civility humanitarian. She has shaped the American trajectory to racial equality for without Mama Sarah Obama and her commitment to education, there would not have been Barack Hussein Obama II; the 44th President of the United States, and became the first African American to hold office. We now turn to the second aspect of my work.

CO-CREATING THE WORLD GREATNESS AWARDS There exists a culture of silence around celebrating greatness when people are still alive.

Very often, the greatness of people is talked about during eulogies when they can’t hear it; and celebrated when people are dead during their funerals when they can’t see it.

HRH CLYDE RIVERS Sir Dr. Clyde Rivers, is the founder of IChange Nations, and Global world Civility leader.

He is the acting Representative to the United Nations – New York for the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI) and the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI Dr. Rivers is the acting Ambassador and the Director of the North American Division of the Golden Rule International. Sir Clyde Rivers has been given the title of the Godfather of civility.

His tireless work around the world to bring one concept to people around the globe.

That kindness and respect for all humanity is the way forward to make the world a better place.

Dr. Clyde Rivers is the Spokesperson for the World Civility Day, Community Civility Counts Initiative, Dr. Rivers has been honored internationally and has received numerous awards. Dr. Rivers is the recipient of the Danny K. Davis Peace Prize 2017, U.S. Congressman of Illinois. This annual Congressional Award was given for excelling in his field and making a difference in people’s lives. In 2017 he was given the title of Don/Sir Dr. Clyde Rivers as he was Knighted into the original Kingdom of Guatemala, and the great city of La Antigua the first city established by the Spanish Monarchy.

LUCY SABIITI Am a mother, a published author of a book called How to start an orphanage in Uganda and a mentor.

Am a Ugandan, my parents are, my late mother, Ruth Kajobe Abwooli RIP, Dad, late Mr. Bishari Abooki RIP. I grew up in a big family of 15 children. Am a widow with a purpose and desire to help children and give them a better life and a future. I lost my job back in 2004, it’s at this point that life was very difficult but I didn’t allow my dream to contribute positively to the lives of children in need die. I always want to be able to serve others and be a blessing.

By the Grace of God and the help of many special humanitarians, they helped me set up my orphanage called Blessed hill children’s center, Uganda. It houses a lot of children without parents who have received a place called home, they are also supported morally, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically, and given education. Many have gone on to be successful in life and have a positive impact on the community they live in.

Back in 1990, after losing some of my brothers to the deadliest epidemic of AIDS, I had to take full responsibility for their children (my nieces and nephews) as well as for my own 7 children. It was not an easy journey but as a parent, I never gave up. Seeing a lot of children in my neighborhood that is orphaned, neglected, and abandoned my heart was moved to take care of some of them, and I decided to be a mother to those children.

I chose to take them in and house them in a rented building living with a matron onsite which I later registered as an orphanage school. My husband suggested that we hire teachers to educate these children, as it would have been extremely expensive to pay for each child’s fees in public schools. “When my dear husband died in 2007, life became complicated for both me and my children. I lost my job and could no longer pay the rent on the orphanage. At the end of our rental agreement, my landlord refused to renew the contract and we were forced to close the orphanage school I had started with then.

It was such an emotional time, but I had nowhere else to take the children and I had to part ways with some of them and stayed with over 25 children in my home until I found help.

I thank God for raising an army of people starting with my children, relatives, volunteers, sponsors, pastors, to mention but a few that stood by me till today. This has enabled me

to stand strong in the gap and be a blessing to the precious children in my care. When I look back, it was not easy, but it was worth it and I decided to move forward. DR. AMB. MAMA SARAH OBAMA'S PROFILE Dr. Amb. Mama Sarah Onyango Obama born in 1920 is a Kenyan educator and philanthropist. She is the third wife of the paternal grandfather of U.S. President Barack Obama. She is known for short as Sarah Obama.

She lives in Nyang'oma Kogelo village, 30 miles west of western Kenya is the main town, Kisumu, on the edge of Lake Victoria.

For as long as she can remember, Mama Sarah Obama has been taking care of povertystricken children by providing them with food, shelter, and other necessities of life. With the outbreak of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in sub-Saharan Africa, she saw her work take on a new face – orphaned children living with their grandparents. This novel paradigm created a completely new reality for grandparents, most of whom had no formal education or resources to raise their grandchildren. As a result, most of these orphans did not go to school. As this tragic situation got worse, Mama Sarah decided to do something about it.

She has also been at the forefront of championing the plight of the orphans, the girl child, and widows in Africa through her charity work in education, sports, health, table banking, environment, agribusiness, and nutrition. She has won various international awards including the UN Women education Award in November 2014 in New York, USA. She also got the Doctor of letters Degree Award for her work in aid of the poor.

Over a decade ago, Sir Clyde Rivers and I started the journey of pioneering online education on the continent of Africa. Who decides to embark on such a journey? Who thinks that they will be the ones to start a new thing in the world? Who thinks of new ideas and considers them valid?

When we study the first three chapters of Holy Scripture, we see the power of mentality.

How did the serpent convince Eve to eat from the forbidden tree? He planted a question in her mind. Here we find the first appearance of a question in Holy Scripture. Once her thoughts were seeded with this question and Eve began to pay attention to it, the idea grew and then turned into action. Our thoughts affect our actions. It is simple psychology; however, until we recognize that God is the Father of psychology, we will never understand how to use our minds properly to live and be productive citizens in this world. If we study the correct ideas, focusing on truth and life principles, we can learn some valuable lessons about ourselves and those around us.

We can know that we are in "God's class" and how to make ideas work for humanity's good.

United Graduate College and Seminary International (UGCSI) and Authorship Education were born from an idea from royal minds. But thoughts are nothing without action. We moved on our ideas, and things began to grow. When I became Chancellor of United Graduate College and Seminary International, I was one of the youngest female international chancellor's in the world.

Acting on the idea to get here, and it will take action to keep it relevant. You see, to keep an idea alive, you must keep it moving. Keep the idea moving with guidance from a loving and wise Teacher, Holy Spirit Educator. Keep the idea moving through highpoints and lows, through failures and victories. The concept will grow and change, but the essence of the idea stays the same.

Moving an idea forward is one aspect of the valuable education that comes from UGCSI programs. This education concept exudes from our chancellors and professors and their philosophies. At UGCSI, our ideas gave way to action, and our movement birthed Authorship Education, a new education paradigm that is architecting the future. DR. CHRISTINE KOZACHUK From a 13-year-old pregnant girl to an entrepreneur and a world leader Dr. Christine Kozachuk is genuinely a life literacy expert.Dr. Kozachuk’s journey started in a rural impoverished coal-mining town in West Virginia. At the age of thirteen, she became pregnant with her first son, married his father, and had two more children with him by the time she was eighteen.

Through the marriage, she was abused physically, mentally, and emotionally.

After the birth of their third son, she had finally had enough of the abuse and left. When she left, they just had the clothes on their backs, no transportation, no education, no money, and no plan as to how they would survive. This is where her determination and survival skills kicked in.

The first thing Dr. Kozachuk did was move to another state; she went back to school and earned her GED to better her and her children’s lives. This is also where she met her husband of twenty-six years. What she knew is she may not have the best of an education, but with her determination to self-teach herself, she will create the life she and her family deserved. Dr. Kozachuk states, “this is the reason my home is filled with educational workbooks, from typing to how to start and run a business.

Her philosophy has always been you don’t have to have lots of money to do what you want in life. It may take you longer, but you will figure out how to accomplish your goal dreams through education with the desire and will power to want more.

DR. KOZACHUK One of her dreams was to start a business, because like so many families, they lived paycheck to paycheck.

In 1995 she and her husband started a truck repair company with fifty dollars. At that time, fifty dollars was a considerable investment. They barely made it from paycheck to paycheck. Over the next five years, she spent time building their business, educating herself on marketing, budgeting, and taxes until they both could quit their minimum wage jobs and grow the business into a thriving company.

Dr. Kozachuk has built multiple successful businesses, RC Mobile Truck Repair Services. She successfully opened and operated two fitness studios, Pink Ice Ladies Fitness Center and Fit N Free for Life. She ran the studios and instructed and encouraged every client. And Every Girl Wins Institute teaches women and young girls Life Literacy. She did this through educating herself on business management and doing what was necessary to see that each became a success. Every Girl Wins Institute was established in December 2018 to teach women and young girls Life Literacy through a practical and effective model. It’s the first of its kind that teaches life literacy to females worldwide.

SIEMONE ANTHONY Siemone was born in Fort Worth Texas to the parents of Benjamin Anthony II and Willa Cheska Anthony Wilcox.

Siemone was the youngest of 4 siblings and was somewhat different from the rest. Her parents divorced when she was at the age of 3 years old. Both of her parents came from families that were prominent in the community where she lived and had much to offer in her growth.

Coming from a home with a Single mother and 4 children life seems a little tough.

But at the end of the day mothers seem to make their children think they have everything the world could ever offer.

As Siemone grew up and into a young teenager she found herself pregnant at an exceedingly early age. By the time she was 22, SHE had 4 children. Talking about perseverance. That is what she had to do. After an 18-year marriage, Siemone managed to put herself through school and start her career by going to a local college that led to her developing a passion the serving others by majoring in Communications. Once she graduated with an Associates in Communications she did not stop there. She then started her career as a communications specialist working in Security with a government contractor. She obtained a top-secret clearance working at the front desk as a receptionist and later being trained as a contractor for Raytheon Professional service and L3Communication, overseeing the Labs and Security over AirCraft & Simulations Information and documentations and she holds a certification as a Six Sigma, Black belt. After 7 years in this field Siemone left Raytheon and started working as a selfemployed Contractor for Bradley D’s cleaning services. I know this sounds a lot different from what you already heard but do not be fooled by the career change.

During this time Siemone successfully became a part of Dallas Black Owned Business Owners Association. 25 years later she still has the same clients who she faithfully services. From there, she aimed to meet and exceed her potential, taking on new challenges and exceeding her own expectations. The time at home 33

leads her to a career change but landed her right back in the skill set she adored, Communications.

During this time Siemone successfully became a part of Dallas Black Owned Business Owners Association. 25 years later she still has the same clients who she faithfully services. From there, she aimed to meet and exceed her potential, taking on new challenges and exceeding her own expectations. The time at home leads her to a career change but landed her right back in the skill set she adored, Communications.

Siemone accepted a position in Hotel hospitality, she was hired as a front desk clerk for Marriott International. Believe it or not, she started off as a front desk clerk for a brand-new hotel that was not yet opened when she started her, and several others help create the brand and get the hotel up and running.

Once Siemone was working for 2 Weeks she was asked to be the Front desk supervisor, by her know nothing about this industry she took on that responsibility. This option gave her unforgettable life experiences. In less than 1 year she was approached by her manager and asked if she would like to be an Assistant General Manager, which she greatly accepted. This the greatest opportunity that changed her life.

Siemone continued in this course of action by continuing to educate herself in Hospitality by training countless hours and learning all she could about the hotel industry she took several classes enrolled back in school and got her Associates in Hospitality management.

After working for Marriott for nearly 10 years she is ending her career their and went to work for Hilton worldwide Working Hilton opened some doors of opportunity, but this struggle was bigger than she would ever imagine.

Siemone was at Hilton Worldwide for 6 months before she was asked to be a part of the leadership team as a supervisor for Hotel escalations. After 1 year in escalation Siemone received an email from a Chair member of the Hilton family requesting a meeting with her to ask if she would accept the invitation of being on the Diversity team with Hilton worldwide. This was quite unusual and not common; however, someone had been watching her and noticed that her leadership skills had what it took and would a great attribute to the team.

Being the Co-Chair of the diversity team with Hilton worldwide opened doors that were essential for her to help organizations with diversity that created both value and meaning to race, ethnicity and gender. Her 15 years in corporate Hospitality, Training & development has been well respected in American society, offering new ideas in the workplace and also encountering interchangeable action that in conclusion contributed to the growth of several organizations from Corporate America to nonprofit organizations as well as person growth with in her own family.

After being pushed in several different ways and being put in unfortunate situations, Siemone went into the career that would give her the knowledge she needed to help not only her family but friends and others in need. She volunteered her services by cleaning homes and apartments for the elderly and those in need.

Just when she thought she had done all she could do. Through two marriages and 4 children, Siemone thought that was the end of her story when it was the beginning.

She started working for the Mortgage industry. You see once you have lost a home and you have seen your love ones go through Foreclosure and bankruptcies due to lack of knowledge and lack of financial planning, Siemone dove into the industry as if she knew all there was to know. But the point is she wanted to do all that she could to help others that had the same experiences she had by losing her home.

Siemone started working for one of the top 5 Mortgagors in the industry. She started as a dispatcher, trying to get Homeowners to refinance their home loans and after 1 year she was forced to either apply for a different department internally or take severance pay and move on. The determination to keep her foot in the door to learn about the challenges of Mortgage showed her that this was only the beginning. So, she applied within the company and received the position of Debt counselor.

Siemone is an expert at what she does. She is a top performer that exceeds the expectations of her role.

In this field, Siemone has achieved her goals by using the knowledge to offer Financial Guidance to homeowners all over the United States Siemone’s certifications consists of RESPA, Fair lending training. Diversity, Mortgage Escalations, Preventative financial counseling.

A few years after investing her time in the mortgage she was offered an opportunity to write her first book as a co-author under H.E.R Inspiration. Elated by this opportunity she agreed to share her personal life stories and experiences. DR. CHARLES ANTHONY Dr. Charles Anthony is a brilliant son, an incredible father, and a devoted husband.

Dr. Anthony is an Evangelist, motivational/ inspirational speaker, Ambassador of greatness and goodwill, Spiritual Leader, Lecturer, Teacher, Leadership Mentor, and Life Coach. He has been nominated for civility humanitarian award through Greatness University and was inducted into the first of its kind “World book of Greatness 2020.”

Therefore, he chose the streets to rely on to feel some sense of acceptance and power.

It was short-lived and as a result, landed him in various circumstances that painted a clear picture of what his life would be like if he did not make some decisions and make them quickly. His former life appeared to be desolate, hopeless, and non-accomplished.

Dr. Anthony quotes one of his favorite scriptures from the Bible that describes his current success. “The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the LORD of hosts. And in this place, I will give peace, declares the LORD of hosts.’” Haggai 2:9 And this declaration became more and more visible to him as time passed. Dr. Anthony chose to apply his resilient character to having a more prominent life. Through a series of events, some decisions had to be made that affected his life for the rest of his life.

One decision that was ultimately made that changed his life was his decision to say yes to Christ.

In a very subtle way, God opens doors and brought people into his life that changed the course of his life. Behind these doors were mentors, professions, and possibilities.

Following years of preparation, God released him to embark upon his ministry. These encounters led to the many successes in Dr. Anthony’s life.

He has gone on to Sunset International bible institute to receive his bachelor’s in biblical studies, his master’s in spiritual leadership, and dedicated himself to receive the highest form of education, an honorary doctorate in Humanities from United graduate seminary and college international.

Demonstrating unwavering faith, he decided to devote his life and service to the ministry and Pastor full time, which has graced him to preach the gospel all over the country.

Dr. Anthony is currently an Evangelist in the state of Montana.

The work of the Lord is always been first and foremost in his heart. His charismatic style of preaching and humorous personality filters over into his sermons as he often uses practical anecdotes to capture the attention of God's people.

In addition, to serving in various capacities of leadership throughout the years. Dr. Anthony was also involved in a variety of ministerial endeavors that prepared him to embrace lost souls and minister to the whole individual regardless of challenges or limitations.

As a sower goes forth to sow, he has an anointing that allows him to minister to those in need of healing of the mind, body, and soul. With such a great calling to fulfill, he finds time to visit the sick, make calls to members, conduct bible study, baptize those who profess Christ and spend time studying God’s word. DR. NADIA ANTHONY WATSON Born in raised in a gang community, wear a certain color and you might die that day. Drugs, alcohol, and a culture that says if it feels good do it! Adopted right out of the womb of her thirteen-year-old mother. Watson would find herself being raised in a house with her aunt and uncle along with two older boy cousins.

Watson was safe until, moving back with her biological mother and stepfather at the age of five.

Entering the school system Dr. Watson-Anthony would begin to experience abuse. This abuse lasted Watson‘s entire childhood until one day her stepfather was arrested for murder.

Watson was a good individual until she started to walk in the same footsteps as the minority. Watson had her first child at the age of six-teen and was now considered a dropout. By age twenty-one, Watson had three children, married and soon to be divorced.

Raising three children in an unhealthy relationship, Watson soon understood the importance of a two-parent home. Watson's finally said enough was enough, with the help of her friend she enrolled in night classes working towards her high school diploma.

All while working as a CNA where she was introduced to basic nursing skills. Watson managed to get her driver licensed and was headed towards enrolling in her local community college looking to graduate soon.

By the age of twenty-five A year under her belt she ran into a friend that would soon be her husband. Watson and Anthony dated for a year and finally married at the age of twenty- seven. Since God, marriage, and family were Watson's priority she found herself dropping out of college to work extra hours to help support a soon-to-be family of six.

Age twenty- nine Watson and her family moved to Lubbock to pursue their degrees in Biblical studies. After graduation, Watson and her family headed back east to work at a local church as youth ministers. Since the beginning of time, Watson has been destined to become a great philanthropic icon in this world. How could a mother of five new-year focus be more important than doing whatever it takes to do the work of the lord, and get instruction from God himself?

Hearing God’s voice gets at the heart of what it means to be human. God made us for more than just listening to him, but not for less. To help us get the point, I’m so grateful that God dug two cute little funny shapes holes in the sides of our heads so that even when we’re too weak to understand or too weak to respond because of our self-doubt we can then rise and say yes! To the almighty God. Hearing is the most basic of human functions, and typically the last faculty to flee as the body shuts down at the point of death. And God gave us ears, both physically and spiritually, that we might hear him. It is amazing how as children we are taught to read, write and speak but not to listen. How amazing it was to obey the voice of the lord with an option to trust that very instinct.

Healing is the process of making one sound or healthy again. Edification on the other hand means to redesign or to improve, whether it’s morally, educationally, spiritual or physical. Rest means to be placed in a specified position this living sequence from the 42

Promised Land to Psalm 95 to the present is what the author has in view when he says, “the word of God is living and active.” Just as God offered rest to his people under Joshua, so also the offer remained hundreds of years later in the psalm, and now God’s word “still speaks.”

When women and girls are healed, edified, and have rested in that new season of life means, it’s now time for HER to go out and inspire other women and girls.

Inspiration is the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative. When we inspire, we give ideas and a force of influences that will inspire someone to do something to enhance their life.

Inspiration comes from the word” in- spirit “meaning something internal. “It’s that thing on the INSIDE of you that helps another see victory.”

Motivation on the other hand is the push that you would give someone, meaning siking a person to do something they naturally do not do like: Workout, eat healthier, Read books. On the other hand, Inspiration wakes that thing on the inside of you that has been asleep.

Inspiration has many levels; some think it is like the Martin Luther King speech “I have a dream” and that is correct. The inspiration that we bring to the forefront belongs to a family of thirty traits broke down into four categories: developing inner self, Setting the tone for your life, Connection with people, and Leading a team. HER inspiration helps to develop leaders by making HER self-aware, optimistic and gives tools and insight on how to lead by example.

DR. KAREN MOORE Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA Dr. Karen Moore developed a love for the arts at an early age. As a classically trained pianist, she used her gift to play for choirs and churches in the Philadelphia area. During her early adult years, Karen developed a love for poetry and musical theater. This ultimately led to combining her music, poetry, and songwriting into theatrical productions performing on stages in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, and Atlanta.

Karen is the founder of Urban Poetik Ministries, Inc (UPM) a nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring urban poetic works that include the mediums of music and dance to the theatrical stage in service to our performers and our audiences. She has written and produced for the theater such works as Song of Solomon: Poetry in Motion a tribute to black love and Packing Up The Marion Williams story in honor of the legendary gospel singer. She has written 85% of the prose/monologue for her productions, and along with her husband, Robin Williams Sr., has composed all of the original music.

Karen’s signature production Poetik Blues: A Sistah’s Story, premiered in 2012 and is a journey through the blues African American women face throughout their lives. She began to notice how her personal story of “Brown Skin Blues” was resonating with her audience. The hurt and trauma of colorism were still running rampant. Karen was compelled to act on this discovery.

In May of 2019 under the leadership of Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers the I AM THE COLOUR OF BEAUTIFUL™ global spoken word initiative and movement was established. It is a global action focusing on deliverance from the stigma of colorism in communities of color across the globe. Karen, through this initiative, is on a mission to liberate darkerskinned women from the colorism psyche by enabling them to write and perform their experiences through the spoken word. The spoken word workshops focus on delivering women from the stigma of colorism. The objective is to bring healing to the hurt and pain of rejection, separation and exclusion. Using music, panel discussions and Collaborate on Colorism Talkback Sessions women are experiencing healing and breakthrough. On April 8, 2020, The Colour Of Beautiful Global Video Project 51

was launched. The premise of this project is to film women of different nationalities across the globe in a “re-presentation” of the beauty of all colors from the lightest to the darkest with The Colour of Beautiful theme song.

Karen is certified in Computer Graphics and Computer Programming with Web Technology. She has been awarded the Women Add Value Recognition Award by Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers and I Change Nations Governing Body and the Human Rights Global Commission. She has also received the Sharing My Voice Award from Black Belt Speakers and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Arts & Worship from Kayiwa International University in Uganda.
