Filming ‘Lierra’ and the Power of Teamwork
Being a cameraman in this project was an extraordinary experience for me. It allowed me to interact with more people and improve my socialization skills. It also enhanced my critical thinking abilities, which I applied in various ways. This film enabled me to recognize my capabilities in this field. The role of a cameraman is crucial as it requires capturing ideal shots for each scene to achieve the best outcome. Despite the challenges, such as shooting in direct sunlight and the timeconsuming nature of the process, I discovered that when you enjoy what you’re doing, exhaustion and boredom fade away. This activity taught me the significance of teamwork, emphasizing that working together is key to success.

Looking back on our presentation of “Lierra” for IWRBS, I gained a deeper insight into the impact it had on me. As a cameraman, I faced various technical challenges, such as working in low-light conditions and managing focus and exposure. We worked in different locations and adhered to tight schedules. Throughout the shoot, I collaborated closely with the director, actors, and other crew members to effectively capture the scenes. This activity highlighted the importance of group cooperation. It was a memorable experience for me as we learned new things and fostered unity and appreciation for the leaders’ plans. Supporting each other and showcasing our skills while actively participating were crucial aspects of this activity. It instilled a sense of responsibility, leadership, and teamwork in all participants, contributing to the successful execution of the project. The activity underscored the value of teamwork, communication, and working together to achieve common goals.
