How long have you been in the military?

I’ve proudly served for 9 years.

What are some of your daily duties?

I fly as an Air Battle Manager on the E-3 Sentry with the 962 AACS. Working alongside an amazing team, we collaborate to create a comprehensive surveillance picture and manage airspace using radar and other sensors. Our focus includes supporting homeland defense for the Alaskan NORAD Region. In my day-to-day duties, as the Executive Officer at the 611AOC, I handle administrative responsibilities, gaining valuable insights into NORAD operations.

What the coolest thing about your job?

The thrill of flying on a unique and iconic aircraft, especially as it approaches retirement, is truly remarkable. Despite its quirks, understanding how our sensors function and can be adapted to achieve our missions is a continuous source of fascination.

What fun things do you do outside of work?

I tend to go overboard with projects…like building a giant snowman. More seriously, I like PC gaming, tinkering with 3D printing, and giving my kids new adventures.

What is your favorite FSS activity on JBER?

This base puts on a lot of awesome events!

My family loves Arctic Oasis, and I enjoy taking my kids to the movies at the base theater.

If you were a pro-wrestler, what would your intro song be?

Undoubtedly, it’d be Darude - Sandstorm.

Fun fact about yourself?

I make a pretty good chocolate biscotti, and I’m a self-proclaimed pancake flipping pro, boasting a record of 50 consecutive flips without a single flapjack folly...or so the legend goes!
