SPACE FOR OUR MINISTRY AND OUR CHILDREN TO GROW
At RiverOaks, we are excited about what the future holds. We weathered the storm of COVID, and we believe God used that refining period to make us stronger and more committed than ever to fostering an authentic, gospel-saturated community. After much prayer and planning, the elders now believe it is time to ‘expand our territory’ to meet the current and future needs of our church families and our broader community. Over the last 12 months, the staff and leadership have worked with a master planning and design team to creatively envision a future footprint for RiverOaks church. This process has identified four main areas that will help us thrive and grow in the years ahead. We believe that this building project will allow us to have an expanding influence of blessing into our community, welcoming more people into our church and reaching out more effectively than in the past.
Our vision for RiverOaks church in the years ahead is to create more spaces in which people can experience the healing touch of Jesus Christ. We will do this through worship, teaching of God’s Word and being a part of a grace filled community of believers. Through this campaign we will raise both human and financial resources to enable more people and families to come into this healing community- both in our community and beyond.

Our vision is to see the following outcomes through the campaign:
• A remodeled Sanctuary, with additional seating capacity of 200 more seats, will allow more people to join for worship services and to gather before and after services to meet friends old and new and have engaging conversations.
• A new Children and Families wing , with an additional 6,250 sf, will allow us to serve and teach 210 children per service, providing young people with a space where they are welcomed, taught God’s word, and feel at home.
• A remodeled Youth and Activities building will help adolescents and pre adolescents flourish through fellowship and activities designed to help them grow in their faith for a lifetime of Gospel service.
• A new Playground to give young people a place to enjoy the outdoors and a place for parents to enjoy with them after services and meetings at the church.
• A re-envisioned ‘Grove’ will provide an inviting outdoor space with covered tables, a fire pit, and a coffee hut allowing everyone a place to gather and experience the fellowship of the Body of Christ in the beauty of God’s creation.
• New Signage will welcome members and visitors alike to the healing community of RiverOaks. The new West Entrance will allow for better traffic flow and entrance experience for newcomers to the church.
• Investment in Church Planting in NE Oklahoma to increase the numbers of local communities for God’s glory and their good.

• New sidewalks and steel canopies to facilitate foot traffic and ease of movement.
Church Planting and Outreach
We believe the above changes will enable us to realize our core goal of being a resource church that plants churches. To that end we want to raise seed funds to:
• Plant three new churches planted in Jenks, Broken Arrow, and Bixby in the next decade.
• Establish a Church planting training program that recruits, coaches, and supports Church Planters well beyond the first years of ministry.
