Upper Control Arm Installation

1. Remove factory washer on the sheer bolt. In order to take off the factory washer use a large socket that will fit over the flange bolt head. Rest the socket on to the washer and strike the socket until washer is freed from the bolt. Then install our supplied washer.

2.Lubricate bushings before installation.

3.Hold UCA in place and insert long sheer bolt. Add Loctite before tightening the bolt.

Driver Side Only: Pull steering shaft toward the universal joint and reconnect where your previous markings line up. Install bolt, and reinstall plastic fastener in the splash gaurd.

4. Torque bolt to 90ft.lbs

5.Put the ball joint stud through the spindle. Install the nut finger tight, then torque to 60ft-lbs. You may need to use a 3/8” wrench to keep the stud from spinning until the nut is seated.

6.Check the torque of ball joint bolts. (Torque to 13ft-lbs.)
