Specialized Orthopedic Hospital

Design 8

Mátag is a specialized orthopedic hoispital that centers around the general theme of inclusivity. The physical form of the structure draws inspiration from the fusion of both natural and modern elements, the spatial hierarchy of services offered is made apparent. The design depicts a way to provide a healthcare facility that encapsulates comfort and inclusivity for all patients, staff, and guests, hence, the Cebuano word ‘Mátag’, meaning ‘every’.

Proposed Site Location : Talomo, Davao City Site Area : 1,943.61 sq.m.

Form Development

The structure follows the shape of the lot to maximize the area available, strategically laying down a void in front of the structure. This void serves as the locus of nature which gives salutogenic views for the left and right wing of the hospital.

A Level-Up Placemaking And Strengthening of Sto. Tomas Plaza

Urban Design

Transforming and revitalizing Plaza de Sto. Tomas into a place for people, discovery, and engagement, to boost its image for economic prosperity and compete with well-known plazas through a level-up placemaking with the concept of breaking free from the obstructive elements that covers up the plaza making it indistinct and obscure, hence the word ‘Alpas’, meaning ‘to break free’.

DELUXE VILLA

Canilam Point Beach Hotel & Resort

Design 6

Canilam Point is a collaborative project of a hotel & resort along Pasaleng Beach, Ilocos Norte. The overall design concept features the unique tropical diversity of the structures as it blends with the coastal environment. Canilam Point offers a deluxe villa that caters to the users’ need for a peaceful refuge and therapeutic resting with its self-healing view of the Pasaleng Beach.

Site Area : 80,000 sq. m.

The villas can be connected through an outdoor connecting vestibule that allows for big groups or families to still socialize and for easier access if needed. The vestibule would be covered and enclosed with doors for safety and security.

Panganlungan is a proposed single - storey residential home that has three bedrooms, two common toilet and baths, and a master bedroom. Panganlungan is a collaborative project given to hone our skills and experience in interior designing, and to discern our capabilities with working under a team to make an interior design that complements each others works.

CASA CALMA

A Proposed Two-Storey Residence

Design 3

Casa Calma is a two-storey residential home for a couple in their mid-forties. The husband is an accountant and is working from home, and the wife is a nurse employed at a nearby hospital. The couple have two children, a daughter and a son, and both are studying at home. Casa Calma is a manually drawn project in 2020, and recently revised in 2023 to exhibit the interior design of the project.

A Proposed 150-Bed Hospital

Most healthcare facilities bring anxiety to patients due to their character and functionality of relying upon a single corridor system; causing traffic and delays on hallways where it is the most used space. Inspired by the systemic circulation of the body, Lingap Hospital seeks to create an environment capable of providing pathways to avoid congestion and to give utmost compassionate care to the patients, guests, and staffs, hence the name ‘Lingap’. The acting heart of the hospital would be the biophilic atrium that will transmit a soothing and therapeutic atmosphere for mental restoration and overall well-being.
