In Jay Schmidt’s first year as a Realtor, he quickly became a rising star at his brokerage. In 2014, he started the Jay Schmidt Group (JSG) with his business partner Janine Werner. For seven consecutive years, JSG has sold the most real estate, by dollar value, of any team in the Metro Milwaukee MLS.

Prior to taking the leap into Real Estate, Jay was the VP of Merchandising for Home Products at Bon Ton Stores. He possesses over 15 years of corporate Marketing and Product Management experience for Fortune 500 companies.

In his first year in the Real Estate industry, Jay was the #1 agent in his Real Estate office and he continues to be one of the top producing agents in Milwaukee’s North Shore and all of Metro Milwaukee. Jay is a resident of Whitefish Bay and he and his partner have rehabbed over 16 properties, while raising three kids and remaining active in the Whitefish Bay and Shorewood communities.
