Professional Service Director
○ Research any potential beneficiaries to ensure the money raised goes as far as possible. ○ Consider the Rotary 4 Way Test when evaluating service projects. ○ When fund-raising, try to target the wider community rather than the pockets of Rotaractors and Rotarians. Maximize funds from people that will not attend the event (eg. pre-sell raffle tickets). ○ Work with the beneficiary of the funds, involving the receiving organisation can help boost numbers as well as assistance in the organisation.

Duties The Professional Service Director of the club, ● Enlighten club members about various career opportunities and vocations and promoting achievement orientation in various vocations by recognizing the same. ● Organize group/pool discussion on various aspects of vocational service and also Career Guidance, awareness and information about the various study and employment opportunities. ● Schedule vocational meetings at the business places of successful businessmen and entrepreneurs. ● To provide personal development opportunities for members. ● To provide training to develop the skills of members. ● To provide information about a wide cross-section of businesses and professions. ● To stimulate awareness and acceptance of high ethical standards in business and professional life. ● Responsibilities ○ Report at each meeting of the club on the planned/upcoming professional and personal development activities and the success of recent activities. ○ Submit reports and photos to the club bulletin and/or website. ○ Identify training requirements and areas of need and report back to the board with suggestions for training and subsequent training plans. This includes both the skills needed in running a Rotaract Club and more general skill development. ○ Encourage members to take on professional development opportunities at club meetings and develop their public speaking skills.
