Do you ever feel tension between the easy yoke that Jesus promises (Matt. 11:30) and the actual experience you have in the world today? It certainly doesn't appear that our culture is promoting grace and forgiveness, encouraging selfless service, or increasing in love for others. Instead, our world feels more polarized and broken than ever. There has to be a better way. Surely this is not how Jesus wanted His people to walk through life. Jesus had a different vision for our experience than what this world has to offer. The Metanoia journey provides a path to draw us closer to that vision.In simplest terms, metanoia is a change of thinking. When Jesus first preached the Gospel in Matthew, Mark, and Luke, He called for a change of mind using the term metanoia which means: a change of mind and purpose and life. In His first public messages, Jesus proclaimed that the Kingdom of God had come near through His death, burial, and resurrection. In order to fully understand this, we must change the way we think about our life and our purpose. We must form our minds to align with a new way of existence. We must experience Metanoia formation.
