SGH - HEELGUARD GRATE AND FRAME

The bolt down heel proof grate and frames are designed for use in areas with high pedestrian traffic. The gap on the grated surface are manufactured to be safe for high heel shoes. The range comes with casting handles to allow them to be cast into pavement areas above the pit. Manufactured and tested to meet AS3996 this range of grates are available in Light duty Class B, as well as Heavy duty Class D.

RP - RETENTION PIT COVER

Designed to slow the flow of stormwater during periods of heavy rainfall, stormwater retention pits are often a local council’s requirement as part of their stormwater management technique. To minimise the risk of flooding, councils require a flow control device to limit the discharge to an acceptable rate and a storage system to hold the excess discharge until capacity becomes available in the downstream drainage system, and retention pits serve this purpose. These retention pits require an adequate cover, based on varying circumstances. Manufactured and tested to AS3996 and available in class B and D. Other sizes are also available upon request.

Flexi Seal 1000 is consists of a self adhesive bituminous rubber compound protected by a medium thickness PE film. The tape has an integral hi-tensile, flexible PE backing which provides high mechanical strength, impact resistance and controlled elasticity/hoop tension.

Jaybro’s manhole step irons are manufactured from high strength steel bar & fully coated in yellow plastic with a nonslip tread, this makes them durable, visible & anti slip. Jaybro’s step irons have been tested and certified in accordance with AS4198-1994, with an ability to withstand 180kg in tension pull-out position & 360kg in cantilever bending, with no affect. They can be set into precast structures during concrete pour, caulked into a drilled hole with epoxy resin or quick setting cement. Test certificates available upon request.
