I am an incredibly focused, hard working individual with an extensive set of skills. The depth and consideration of the technical, research, and conceptual aspects of my graduate project, linked research project and design thesis, have brought me both considerable recognition and publication. Having been awarded best design portfolio and major project design, best linked research project and the RIBA Presidents Silver Medal nomination, respectively.

I enjoy developing a systematic design where my designs are expressive of their processes and intergrate environmental and social functions, to help the users to better understand climate action. I am passionate about creating forward thinking, adaptive environments for future living and I am concerned with our obligations as architects to set an example of sustainability, this led to co-founding Newcastle Universitites Climate Action Network (NCAN).

After receiving considerable recognition and publication, as well as the highest mark in the year 92/100 in my Linked Research module, I have been invited back by the University to further develop my research and biomaterial development of Bacterial Cellulose cladding panels with a focus on material adaption in response to climate change with feedback from industry partners.
