Jay Sawyer of Glenview, IL says that although there is no question that globalization has been a good thing for many developing nations who now have access to our markets and can export cheap goods, we cannot deny the fact that it has also led to the continuing deindustrialization of America. He also says that there are still many barriers to free trade and the ethereal goal has also not been achieved in most countries despite globalization. He feels that building products overseas, especially in countries like China puts our technologies at risk of being copied or stolen.
