ROAD TO THE ROSE PARADE For 70 years, the Sudler Award-Winning Marching Southerners have redefined the musical and visual landscape of college marching band from the beaches of Hawaii to the streets of Rome, and now, to Pasadena, California for the 2027 Rose Parade on January 1st. This historic invitation is a testament to the legacy of excellence our alumni and supporters have helped build.
As we prepare to represent Jacksonville State University on one of the world’s largest stages, we are raising $2.2 million to ensure every member has the opportunity to make this journey. For those who have marched before, you know the feeling: the chills, the pride, the lifelong bonds. Help us pass that experience forward. With your gift, you help purchase 650 band and 125 colorguard uniforms along with sending the Southerners, Colorguard, and Marching Ballerinas to the 138th Rose Parade.
