Good Evening,
Welcome to the 2026 Miss Jacksonville State University Competition. On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students, I would like to present the eight women who will be competing to represent Jacksonville State University at the 2026 Miss Alabama Competiton.
The Miss America organization provides millions of dollars in scholarships each year at the local, state, and national levels. Many of the previous Miss JSU titleholders have been given the opportunity to further their education through this scholarship program.
We would like to thank the 2025 Miss Jacksonville State University, McKenzie Fuller, for being an outstanding representative of the Friendliest Campus in the South. Jax State produces quality students, and McKenzie is a shining example.
The Miss Jacksonville State University 2026 competition is themed “Gem of the Hills”, reflecting a long time nickname of the city of Jacksonville and Jacksonville State University. Tonight, watch our candidates shine as they reflect the beauty and grace of natural gems. Tonight’s show features a gem-stoned song selection, including “Opalite”, “Diamonds and Pearls”, “Sapphire”, “Bejeweled”, and “Sparkling Diamonds”.
Thank you for your continued support of the Miss JSU Preliminary Competition. I would like to give a special thank our Miss JSU committee members, volunteers, and donors for helping to make this event possible. I would like to wish all of our candidates good luck tonight as they compete. We hope you enjoy the show!
Sincerely,
Abbie Beatty Director, Miss Jacksonville State University Competition
