Finding The One

When Demi Judd decides to host a client event, you know it’s going to be fun and fabulous.

A former wedding planner turned REALTOR® at REAL, Demi is hitting her stride while making plenty of true friends along the way. But she needed some convincing to take the initial leap.

“I really did not want to be a REALTOR® at first,” Demi admits. “They reminded me of car salesmen, not the vibe I want to give off. But then I kept thinking ‘What if I did it differently?’ I can ‘Dem-ify’ it by making it impactful, educational and fun.”

Foundation Of Faith

After high school, Demi pursued a degree in theology and Christian leadership from Chapel Bible College in California, with plans to work at her local Redeemer Church. While a position wasn’t open at the time, she still carries her faith with her on a daily basis; it’s firmly woven into every decision she makes.

“Rory Vaden put it so clearly — ‘God doesn’t care what you do, it’s how you do it’,” Demi shares. “That’s been a guiding principle for me. I’ve always wanted to lead in a way that honors God, and I strive to reflect that in my business.”

Demi then spent the next few years as a wedding planner, helping couples create magical memories.

“I loved being part of people’s stories,” she shares, but the high pressure of planning others’ big days became less appealing after her own wedding.

She shifted gears, taking a job at a local restaurant while mulling over her next move. A conversation with friends convinced her to explore real estate, and in August 2021, Demi went all in while keeping her expectations low.

“Real estate was a leap of faith,” she recalls. “But what started off as hoping it would work out went above my expectations. In every step of my career, I always remember to put my clients’ needs first, and that builds not only trust, but deep relationships.”

Bridal Expos And Back-toSchool Brunches When it comes to her business, Demi is always thinking outside the box. She’s cultivated a personal brand that’s authentic, relational, and downright fun — a combination that keeps clients coming back and referring friends.

“The community I bring my clients into is what sets me apart,” she explains. “Through personal relationships, transparency, and guidance, I help them root deeper into the local community with events and get-togethers.”

Demi uses her wedding planning background to pull off everything from visiting bridal expos for lead generation, to Top Golf events, and even renting out a movie theater for clients and their children.

One of her favorite events last year was a back-to-school brunch held at her new home.

“I hosted it in August after closing on my house in July,” Demi shares. “My clients were my first guests to see my new home and we had charcuterie boards and mimosas — it was such a fun way to connect with everyone!”

Her social media presence also plays a big role in her success. “I do a lot of videos, and I’m very genuine when I create them,” Demi adds. “My clients know that yes, this is business, but my heart is in every moment of it with them. I’m in the trenches during the transaction, as if it was my own home or my own family.”

For Demi, success isn’t about numbers or rankings though. “Does it feel good to be a top producer? Heck yes,” she smiles. “But I’m not thinking about the numbers or the money. I’m thinking about the people who made it possible to get me here. When the walls come down with a client and trust is built, that’s success.”

Embracing Abundance

Like many new agents, Demi struggled with self-doubt early in her career.

“I came into the industry saying, ‘Well, I’m new, so I can’t…’ or ‘I won’t be a top producer because of…’” she candidly recalls. “What I had to start doing was pouring into myself — talking to that girl in the mirror, letting her know she can do this and do it better than she imagined. I’m so happy I had that talk because I’ve been incredibly blessed.”

That mindset shift, along with the guidance of a trusted coach, has helped Demi focus on abundance instead of need. “This business is value-add,” she says. “I love collaborating and creating new ways to do business as a REALTOR®, both with other agents and my clients.”

Local Pride

Born and raised in St. Augustine, Demi has planted deep roots in her hometown and loves where she lives. “I’ve traveled to over 13 countries through missions and schooling overseas, but there’s no place like home,” she affirms.

Demi and her husband, Logan, have been married for six years and stay busy raising two children: Brixon (11) and Everleigh (4), who’s convinced she’s a Disney princess. “You can’t tell her otherwise,” Demi laughs.

The Judds love exploring their city, hitting the gym, and satiating their wanderlust. This summer, they’re looking forward to an exciting trip to Scotland and Ireland.

The future is filled with endless possibilities for Demi, who dreams of making an even greater impact on her clients and fellow agents in the years to come.

“I’m ready to embrace all opportunities and I would love the chance to speak at events to inspire agents to do real estate ‘differently’,” she offers. “I want to help change the norm so that it’s more impactful and relational.”

Demi also envisions creating a stronger sense of community for her clients. “I want to be the agent they know they can come to for all their questions, goals, and connections,” she concludes. “To help them plant roots where I’ve planted mine.”
