Greater Noida Industrial Area is located at the intersection of the Western and Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridors and is also the gateway to the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). It lies within the National Capital Region of India’s capital - New Delhi and is adjacent to Noida, one of the largest industrial townships in Asia.

Because the site is surrounded by rural areas, designing an institute around an upcoming Film City was a difficult issue.

As a result, the design brief was to build the institute in such a way that it invites students while simultaneously maintaining a sense of place.

The master plan was created using the site's zoning as well as numerous factors impacting the climate.

TEXTILE, FASHION AND ARCHITECTURE BLOCK The academic block is angled at 58 degrees to the site's center axis, creating an opening or face to the courtyard within the campus, giving students a vivid outlook. The longer facades of the classes face the S, S-E direction, which receives the most solar radiation; to reduce this, louvres might be installed on that face.

The Site's zoning was done in consideration of Noida's climatic circumstances. Zoning has also been done with the views and vistas of the university in mind, so that it seems inviting to the students.

Buildings are placed on the East-West axis, with the longest façade facing North and South, which is the preferred orientation.

Buildings are positioned to take advantage of the wind direction and flow. Classrooms are designed with shaded hallways on the south east side to block direct sunlight from entering the room, and windows on the north side to allow for cooler breezes.

UNIVERSITY LIBRARY Library placement act as a central vista to the site. Library front is a double heighted space with glass façade, to minimize solar heat gain from glass façade, we can introduce coated glass or chemically improved heat reducing window films. Solar glazing is also a factor for which we can introduce vertical louvers which are placed at an angle to cut out South and South East Glare. Multi-functional staircase is also designed inside the library for better recreational and study area for the students.

The building's heights were kept in contrast to create a sense of hierarchy in the design while also allowing students to express themselves on campus. Building heights in common spaces were kept low to make them easily accessible for students and faculty who are physically challenged.

Chandni Chowk, located in the heart of Old Delhi, is a bustling shopping district with markets offering spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry, and vibrant saris, as well as a plethora of small stores selling essential oils, stationery, and traditional Indian sweets. The massive Mughal-era Red Fort now serves as a museum, and the 17th-century Jama Masjid is a massive red-sandstone mosque with towering minarets.

Designing a Mall around all of that took a lot of thought because the site is bordered by bustling stores, innumerable residential units, and a rich history. As a result, the design requirement was to construct the mall in such a way that it welcomes visitors from all over the world while also informing them about the history of Chandni Chowk.

SHOPPING COMPLEX DESIGN Mall Design

MALL COMPLEX Ali Mardan Khan, well versed in the art of dredging up canals, renovated an old canal and renamed it Faiz Nahar. This canal ran through the entire length of Chandni Chowk, from the fort to the Fatehpuri Mosque, providing water for both drinking and irrigation. Created a replica of it in smaller scale as a water body in the mall complex.

DWELLING UNITS

Chandni Chowk has a long history, although it has deteriorated over time. Historical places reflect an area's history, but in the case of Chandni chowk, the houses that were built 100's of years ago tell the story of Chandni chowk. These houses are not just houses; they are dwelling units in which humans have lived for ages and seen their generations mold themselves according to the dwelling units. Dwelling transforms a person and gives them a new perspective on life.

The building's shape could serve as inspiration for a number of residential architectural projects or any other high-rise development in Chandni chowk in the near future. The form is derived from the Chandni chowk dwelling unit, which is the area's main USP and hence requires extra attention.

There will be open-air cafés and restaurants on several terraces. The green roof will serve to regulate the microclimate of the area, resulting in better climatic conditions. Open-air cafes will draw a crowd from the surrounding area.

The hotel's top four levels will contain luxury suites, making guests feel luxurious. Large windows will be installed on these floors to provide a full view of Chandni Chowk and its surrounding districts, as well as a view of the Yamuna.

The iconic structure is planned in Nav Bharat Udyan to realize the grand vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, symbolizing emerging New India with equitable growth opportunities, rooted in values of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas, Sabka Vishwaas and representing the aspiration of clean India, free from poverty, corruption, terrorism, communalism and casteism.

The River Yamuna runs alongside the site, making it quite visible. The landmark edifice can be seen from afar, adding to its grandeur, and the Central Vista Axis adds to its prominence. Because the location is surrounded by historical buildings, we have a palette of materials to incorporate in our iconic structure to give it a sense of the past.

URBAN DESIGN Nav Bharat Udyan – Iconic Structure

The Central Vista Axis increases the prominence of the site. The Central Vista provide a sense of grandeur to the iconic structure, central axis works as a focusing point to the site and thus increases its archetypal. Monuments around Central Vista increases the tourism count in our site. For ex. in India Gate the monthly count of visitors is 25 Lakh.

River Yamuna is a major prominent point for the site.

It flows along the site in southerly direction from the Himalayan foothills onto the Indo-Gangetic Plain. Being Yamuna River along the site increases the site context and provide views and vistas to the site. River Yamuna also gives rich Ecology.

Site is located in New Delhi District, making it easily accessible from various transportation services, be it personal or public transportation.

If a site is easily accessible then the chance of more tourism attraction is maximum, a well connected is site more visited

In the graphic representation we can see the connection of site by various National Highways and Expressways. This shows that the site is well connected throughout India. If a person from any part of the country wants to visit this structure, they can access it easily through these National Highways.

In tropical climate like India long facades of buildings oriented towards North—South are preferred. East and West receive maximum solar radiation during summer.

South orientation receives maximum solar radiation during winters which is preferable as composite climate receives severe winters. East and West receive maximum solar radiation during summer. West is a crucial orientation because high intensity of solar radiation is received during summers, when the internal gains are also at its peak.

CONIC STRUCTURE Each of these three massive structures will

include a sign or figure that represents 75 years of independence. The constructions will function as walls, with the symbolic cutouts providing a sense of freedom within the confines of the walls. People will be able to feel the struggle of our Freedom warriors to win our independence in this way.

Adults fondly recall the opportunities to escape the confines of the classroom and embark on a new playground adventure, these memories you appreciate for the rest of your life.

Today's children are overburdened with activities, Playgrounds and playtime have vanished as a result of video games & television. This restriction in free play may have a negative impact on children's development.

Outdoor play gives them freedom and independence.

Playgrounds are places where children can explore safely.

Children interact socially, make their own decisions, and they also learn to play alone independently.

Designing a children's park is an attempt to connect the dots between children's and the benefits of playground in their life

TREE HOUSE A tree house, tree fort or tree shed is a platform or building constructed around, next to or among the trunk or branches of one or more mature trees while above ground level. Tree houses can be used for recreation, work space, habitation, a hangout space and observation.

Designed sections for different age groups at the start of the playground, specially designed area for young children.

Parents/elderly people can safely supervise their children due to varying heights throughout the design.

For the majority of buildings, architecture begins on the ground. But buildings continue to rise with our ambitions, and as we’ve created skyscrapers soaring thousands of feet that reach toward the stratosphere, we continue to look up.

Treehouses, on a smaller scale, express an innate desire for reflection as well as new perspectives and vantage points. As architects construct structures above ground, their designs are freed from the constraints of the ground and given tremendous flexibility.
