FOOTBALL
SP ORT S
By Clemente Rebolledo (3F)
GOINGTOASOCCERMATCH By: Ada McLaughlin (4B)
Football is a sport that everyone should play. In my opinion, it's the best sport ever! It has good structure, so what I mean is that all the players have a specific position, that is for a specific function. Football is a great game and everyone should play because it gives you exercise. Have you seen how strong is CR7 (Cristiano Ronaldo 7) Muscles! If you?re good at playing Football like me, you should give everyone a chance by passing. Pass the ball to everyone, not only the best players. I play every day, since I was 3 years old. I?ve scored about 70 goals this 3rd grade season, and I want to get to 100 goals. So the game is played with a goalie, a defense, midfield and striker. The goalie is the most important position because it is the last line of defense. The defense has to stop the st riker that is trying to score a goal. The midfield is like a defender and a stricker at the same time! The strikers are the ones that go up field and try to score a goal.
?Lets go Dad,? I said. My brother Jude did not want to go to the match, which is weird because now he loves soccer. I went with Dad into the glowing sunset. ?Partida de futebol do Brasil contra Austrália começa em 5 Minutos.? Wow Luckily we knew how to speak portugese. That is translated into, Soccer Match Brazil against Australia starts in 5 minutes! The LOUD SPEAKERS boomed. Dad and I hurried into the soccer stadium. But before that he bought me a soda and a hot dog. The stadium was huge. Players from Brazil and Australia hurried on to the pitch ready to start the game? ... ?GO KIWI?S,? shouted Dad over the screaming of the fan?s of Brazil. Brazilians scored goal after goal. I finished all my food and drink. Soon the match would be over. I knew Australia would never win, but they were good at other things like rugby. That was one of the best experiences in my life, and that was going to a soccer match with Dad!!!!!
Pelé is only the BEST footballer in the history of the world! I would say Ronaldo (not Cristiano Ronaldo) is right behind. Obviously we can't forget about the current best that are Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. I would probably say Messi is better than Cristiano, but that doesn't mean Cristiano is bad, he is still amazing. Lucka is the 2018 World Cup winner and he plays in Real Madrid. Luka modorik has a lot of skills. That is crucial is football to know a lot of skills. It is easier to pass to players with the ball. Once again, football is the best sport and everyone should play, and of all the goals that I have ever score, this is the best goal that I scored. When I was at MY side of the field, I shot, and scored! 12
IM A G IN A T IO N C R E A T IO N THEWOODLANDWHISPERERS By Olivia Neuhauser (Grade 4B) My name is Jackie Woods. Since when, I don?t know, but I?ve always been able to charm animals. Just by singing. They love it. I live in Steamboat, Colorado. It is wonderful. Horseback riding in the green, wet grass in the springtime, fireworks, and trees covered in milk white snow in the winter, scarlet roses bloom brightly in the summer. It all leads to a phenomenal life. I formed a club a few years ago, called the Woodland Whisperers. We go to the woods every Tuesday and Thursday, with the animals. But, one day, something terrible happened. Sarah, the only other member of the Woodland Whisperers, had disappeared a few days earlier, on Tuesday, the 2nd of May. And I REALLY, REALLY needed to find her before she disappeared for good. I needed to find out where she went, and which had animal betrayed the Woodland Whisperers, and kidnapped Sarah! Sarah, to me, meant everything. She was the bestest best friend in the world, and I really couldn?t lose her now! I guessed there was only one way to find out? On Thursday, I crept into the forest, peeking around every corner I saw. In caves, until I finally sat down to rest and pulled some chocolates out of my pocket. Then I hummed the melody: Ode To Joy, and small animals, such as squirrels and
beavers all soaked from their daily swim, foxes, both male AND female, skunks, racoons, chipmunks, rabbits and mice, came to join me as I fed them small crumbs of chocolate and and sang for their delight. ?Hey, you guys, do you happen to know who took Sarah? I?m tired out from looking and really want to find her. Her mom is starting to worry.? I said, with a calm, but tired out voice. ?Yes? ? peeped a very small fox, who must have been a newborn. ?I saw a female bear take her on her back, where she seemed to be sleeping, I don?t know, but still. Then the bear murmured something I couldn?t quite hear.? He continued in a squeaky voice. Then she pointed at huge footprints, and added: ?Those are the bears footprints. Follow them and maybe you will find the bear who took Sarah.? I looked at where he had pointed, and whispered: ?Thank you so much. Where is your mama?? I asked calmly. ?Oh.? He said. ?She, uh, passed away.? He added awkwardly. ?Oh, then uh, do you want to come live with me?? I asked, and his face lit up. Then he jumped on to my back, and said: ?YES!? And off we went. He pointed the way, and I listened to his instructions carefully, until we finally arrived at the mouth of a cave covered in dead branches that had fallen off from the nearby trees. We crept inside and saw scratches on the wall. Leftover bones of the bears?past meals. A shiver crept through me. I really hoped that one of those bones did not belong to my best friend in the world. 13
Sickness By: Ada Mclaughlin(4B) Hi, my name is Ivy Gray. It is war time. My dad is the government, and normally he is never around. I have a sister who is at school in Oxford. I do not go to school. It is a luxury to go to school in war time. My brother left Oxford to fight in the war. To me, war is like a vacation from school. But it does not include sleeping in because the air raid siren screams a warning for bombers almost every night. The sirens are our signal to go down to the old, tumble-down shelter in the back garden. One Wednesday morning I woke up and went down into the flowery garden. I had brought my notebook so I could study the bugs and incredible animals that live in a garden. I laid down on my tummy and examined a fat beetle that was scurrying past, into a hole under a bush. Five hours later, I came inside. It had been raining for at least the last two hours. Mum was with Pa at his office in the war building. She would not be home for the next two days. A house maid was looking after me. She scolded when she saw me come into our mansion, dripping wet and staining the carpet with my muddy rain boots. She immediately guided me to the bathroom where I took a long, relaxing bath. Then I had dinner and went straight to bed. In the morning I had a really high fever up to 42.4. The house maid did not scold anymore. She called the doctor and Mum right away. For days I was stuck in bed, and brought breakfast, which I hoped I didn?t drop The housecat, Amber, kept me company all the time, purring, rubbing it?s soft fur against my legs, and blinding me with wet licks. I had the measles. After five weeks I was able to walk. But the sickness had left me blind. I needed crutches for quite a while. At my school I was known as Ivy the Great for being blind and still wanting to learn. The war passed in a series of spies entering England, nights in the horrible shelter, and sacrificed men! My brother survived and never skipped a chance to come home. I was left blind forever because of that horrible sickness. In rain or sunshine I would be out in that wonderful garden of mine. It took some time because I had and few protests from the maid, I was tripping over cushions, and I forgot to open the door. That led to a few bangs on the head. I had good luck for a while and my mother and father turned into the world's most protective parents. After the war (2 years later), my father came home for only 5 months. From then on, I never got sick again. 14
Super Dog By Jack (Grade 3) Tom Bires, an average teenage 10th Grader, was at his locker before he prepared for his football game. He was searching for a pencil to finish his homework, when suddenly, RING! He dashed out to the field to get ready for his game, he put on his uniform, helmet, threw his shoulder pads on, and put in his mouth guard. Later in the game, SMASH! The linebacker knocked him onto his back. ?I don?t think football is my game,??he says as he gets back up. The linebacker runs to Tom?s side of the field and he scores. Tom lost the game. He stayed for a while at the field doing homework and all of a sudden a german shepherd came out of nowhere and bit him! He kicked the german shepherd and the dog flew off the field. Tom looked at his bite and then he looked at the german shepherd. It had a collar, so he returned to his homework. He was still not done. When he got the answer wrong he yelled right at the pencil and it snapped in half! He went over to the dog and its collar said WARNING RADIOACTIVE! He gasped, he thought he might get sick or might even die. So he reacted immediately. He ran home, but realized on the way he had super speed and could outrun a Ferrari.
Later at home, he realized that he could jump higher than his house. He was surprised when that happened because his mom almost saw him jump that high. Later that night, he knew he had to keep his powers a secret to his family. Right after breakfast, his mom talked about his game the night before and what he could have done better. Tom suddenly heard a siren and asked his dad (who used to play football) if he can hear it. His dad says ?No you must be daydreaming.? Tom told his dad that he was going to ride around the neighborhood. He sprinted outside and jumped toward the sound. It was a robbery! He jumped down and quickly dashed to the robber?s getaway car. He used his super bark and popped all four wheels. Tom jumped back home and later in the daily news it reported the crime scene that Tom had been in, but all they could see near the wheels was a blur he realized all his powers were dog related. Super Bark, Super Jump, Super Speed, and Super
Hearing. School was closed the next day. It snowed everywhere in Dallas. Tom went outside and he was warm. He wasn't even wearing a jacket, just a normal long sleeved shirt. Everyone else were wearing jackets. They looked at him strange and asked,?Aren't you cold?? Tom simply just said, ?No? and walked away. Tom realized that he was acting weird so he went back inside his house and grabbed his jacket and boots and went back outside. He still felt fine so he started a snow fight with his friends. Days later, he was back at school for a rematch football game, and he was ready this time! He passed the football to the quarterback the quarterback passed to him. He could see the linebacker from the other team. so he kept running, and right when he has in the linebackers sight, he use his speed (not too much) and dashed passed him and got the final score TOUCHDOWN! The crowd cheered for their team (the Hornets). Little did Tom know an enemy was watching. On his way back home he was very excited because it was his mom?s birthday. He dashed home and he made the cake even before his mom could wake up from her nap. Minutes later Tom had finished the cake and he went to bed. That morning he woke up (8:00 to be specific) brushing his teeth(and making a super dog costume.) he was really tired after he had finished his super dog costume. He was surprised when his phone rang because no one really calls him he answered and a deep voice he had never heard was speaking "Hello there Tom I know who you are and what you are capable of so I want you to meet me at the gym after you finish school and also my name is Parker, James Parker." When Monday arrived he waited in class forever, after all those classes I'm finally free he thought as he walked to the gym once he got there he saw James and he said "hello Tom I?m glad you?re here you need to try to run around the gym 10 times in 10 seconds" Tom sprinted across the room getting faster and faster he finished in 5 seconds. After the test about super powers he had been tired out then James told him "get some rest you?ve done good." Later that night he heard crashing he increased his hearing and heard meowing he realized maybe this is his very first villain the opposite animal of me a super cat he put on his costume and jumped out of his house using his hearing to guide him. He had found his enemy and his enemy looked at him 15

MYOLDCATERIC By: Ada Mclaughlin(4B) I had a beautiful cat named Eric. He was the color lilac, no not that Lilak a sort of yellow but it is called Lilac. I was with Eric for a long time. Since I was a tiny baby to when I was 6. I loved Eric and he loved me. He knew when I was a baby he needed to be gentle with me. Every night in bed while I had trouble falling asleep he would sneak in to my room and he would crawl up onto my bed and lay on my tummy. I used to pat him until I fell asleep, and in the morning I was covered in fur, but Eric's would be snuggled under my chin.
I love cats and it all started with a little lick on the hand to lead to such a great friendship. On days when I had bad days at kindy He would snuggle with me and give me some purr?s. On nights that Eric stayed in his own bed often I would get up to get a drink of water, from the kitchen in the dark house. When I got down the stairs to see Eric's green eyes reflecting on me, that usually told me that I was not alone. Eric was such a good friend. Now he is in heaven. We buried him in Brazil. And when dad goes to work there which is every two weeks, he puts fresh flowers on the spot where an amazingly nice cat lies. That was my cat Eric.
ASERVALSTORY By Emilia Graether ?Ugh, mom! Stop! You know that I can wash myself!? Flamefire groaned as his mother licked him, trying unsuccessfully to get the fur on his spine smooth and clean. ?I want to go practice hunting! I can?t catch a rabbit yet, and Moonlight and Roseriver keep being mean to me about it!? His sisters were five days older than him, and better than him at pretty much everything. It just wasn't fair! His mother finally stopped licking him, sitting up. ?Okay, finished. You can go and practice now.? She meowed sweetly, but Flamefire had already hurtled outside. He inhaled natures nice scents, then exhaled them deeply. The breeze on the windblown savanna would do him good. CONTINUE ON THE NEXT PAGE....
16
He ran, feeling the wind in his fur. He HAD to catch that rabbit! His fur blended into the savanna and for a moment, the rabbit looked back to see where Flamefire was. At that moment, the little serval jumped out of the grass and killed the rabbit with a vicious bite. Finally! I can finally catch a rabbit! he thought to himself. Now I can catch birds, frogs, mice, fish, AND rabbits. But his excitement quickly diminished as he saw a cackling figure in the distance. Hyena! he thought. He slinked into the higher grass behind him, feeling his fur blend into the shadows. Then he shot back home, using all his strength and speed. ?Why ya runnin?so fast?? his sisters asked innocently as he slid to a stop in front of his den. ?So it was YOU?! YOU were the stupid hyena?? Flamefire exclaimed.?Yes.? Roseriver replied unkindly. Flamefire flicked an ear like he hadn't heard anything, then stomped away, frustrated with his sisters for tricking him like that. He had been scared! He found his paws leading him into his den, and realized that he was very drowsy. He happily sunk down into his nest and let himself drift off into a cozy dreamland. He yawned and stretched, grateful for the three hours of sleep he had snatched. Then his sisters hopped gracefully into the nest with him. ?Now that you can catch your annoying little rabbit, it?s time for a new challenge. You have to sneak out at night and go and find the pair of snakes in the Lightning Tree and attack them,? they meowed. Everyone knew about those snakes that had decided to make their den in the tree that had been struck by lightening in the storm that had killed lots of animals and unbalanced the foodchain of life. Flamefire groaned. The truth was that their challenges helped him be a better hunter and sneak better, but that didn?t mean that he had to like them.?Ok. Fine.? he hissed under his breath. ?I?ll do another one of your challenges.? ?Great!? they meowed. Then they leaped out of the den, leaving Flamefire in peace. Flamefire bunched his hind leg muscles, feeling their strength. He loved that he could jump in the air and feel the wind on his fur. He pushed up into the sky and felt a breeze ripple through his pelt. It felt like he was flying in the air until he plopped back down onto the floor. ?You are NOT a bird!? his mother meowed
crossly. ?So don?t act like one!? ?Fine!? he replied in disgust. Then he walked away and did it over and over again in another place his mom couldn?t see. He did this until sunset, then ducked under the bush and into his den, and waited until the moon rose high over his head to start his adventure outside. The little serval looked into the starless night. He knew he could see as well as any other nocturnal creature, but he still didn?t want to go out, because it was dark, scary, and loomed in front of him like an endless cave of nightmares. But either way, he had to face his fears, so he stepped into the utter blackness and started creeping into the night shadows. Once Flamefire got there, he wasn?t surprised to see two long, skinny creatures slithering off of the Lightning Tree. He slunk into pouncing position, but something made him stop in his tracks. There were about a hundred more snakes sliding menacingly out of the shadows. There had to be a whole tribe of them! Flamefire?s body itched to flee, but before he could do anything, he realized that there were two shapes sliding out of the shadows that looked more like felines than snakes. Flamefire wondered who they were, but his question was answered as Roseriver and Moonlight raced out into the stars?light. ?What are you doing here?? Flamefire whispered. Moonlight answered, ?We told Mother about sending you out to fight the snakes, and she told us that there was a clan living there now. We were worried about you, and so we decided to come help you fight.? Flamefire looked at them joyfully. His sisters cared! Then he realized that they were surrounded now by the slithering, hissing creatures. ?Attack!? he yowled. Then, he and his sisters jumped out as one and clawed at the snakes, until they were sure that the gruesome creatures knew that they were vicious fighters. After that, they turned around and fled for their lives. When they were safely back home, Flamefire thought back to the fight. His sisters had not only persevered, but they showed that they cared about him. Now he knew that all his sisters intentions had been based on what was best for him. The hyena situation had helped him learn what to do if a predator was nearby, and the challenges had taught him how to fend for himself. 17
WAYSKIDSCANHELPTHEPLANET By Olivia Scoles (grade 4) I feel bad when I am thinking about climate change. It makes my so angry to think that humans have done so much damage to our planet. Fortunately, after researching I found out that there are many many ways kids (Adults too)can help the planet. I?d like to share those ideas with you.
What 's cl imat e? Climate is what the weather's like in mostly different places. Our planet has its own climate that helps life to exist on Earth.
What 's cl imat e change?
-
-
Climate change is that the weather is changing. It can get hotter or colder in different places at the same time. This is bad because if the world gets a little bit warmer then that is really bad. -
Why is cl imat e change import ant ? Climate change is really important because its changing our world in many many bad ways. Are planet should have this not have this happening to are world. Carbon is one of the reasons why the climate is changing. Humans make too much carbon in powering our world. Because of humans, look at what we have done to our planet.
Gret a Thurnbrg
-
Take care: turn off lights and water when you?re not using it. It?s easy to forget. Eat less meat: eating more meat produces a lot of climate changing gases. Eat your fruits and vegetables instead. When your parents tell you its healthy for you, it?s also healthy for the planet. Walk when you can: walk to close places because driving produces carbon, which changes the climate. Plant: trees and flowers, because they breathe in carbon.
Cal l t o Act ion If you ever feel uncomfortable about the bad things happening to our climate, well you can start with making changes in your life.
You must be thinking to yourself, what can I do to help to save the planet? Well there are lots of kids trying to help the planet, and one famous kid is Greta Thunrberg. She is a 16 year old girl who is convincing world leaders to make changes that protect our planet. Her work shows the big changes that kids can make. Would you like to learn some things that you can do to help the planet? Read on?

Sometimes we walk to school to not pollute.
Recycle: Lots of things (like cans, bottles, paper, and cardboard) can be remade into either the same kind of thing or new products. Reuse: use it again and again. This is even better than recycling. Reduce: this is the best thing you can do- use less stuff.

OUTDOOREDUCATIONATNIDO By Francisca (Grade 4) ?Mr. Travis and Miss Nasha, look at my observation of those red birds. They are flying toward me. It's so, so cool and those slimy worms...gross!? We are lucky here at Nido because we have 400,000 square meters of outdoor learning space. In this space students have the opportunity to learn about animal habitats, nature?s life cycle, and the environment. The main goal for the outdoor learning at Nido is for students to get in touch with nature, and love it like their family and develop a sense of responsibility for the environment. Mr. Zack?s suggestion for Nido students is to put screens down and go play outside. He said, "Don't be scared of get t ing dirt y!" MATH PROBLEM The Nido campus is 60 hectares in total. 20 hectares of it has buildings on it. So how much land if free and does not have buildings? Work Space Here:

Re a d e r s W r it e By Martina (Grade 5)
THEADVENTURESOFGIOVA
t was a cloudy rainy New Year?s eve in Armenia, Colombia. Me, (9 years old) my aunt Giovanna (Giova, 34 years old), and my brother Agustin (Agus, 6 years old), were going to the park to play tag. Since it wasn?t a short walk, we started playing this walking game called ?Guillermo?tel?, which was basically walking to the rhythm of the music and keeping every move as similar as possible. So after a few minutes of walking, we got to the park. Since it was raining, the park was literally a large, rectangle, pile of mud. ?Eww!! This is disgusting! Can we go back?? I pleaded. Meanwhile, Giova?s mouth dropped open, and looked like ?the mask?, but not green. I think it took Giova a minute to process what I?d just said, because, well, I had to repeat it. ?Wha?? She stared at a distance. ?I said, Can-we-go- back?-This-is-a-pile-of-mud!? I rolled my eyes. Agus started hyperly jumping up and down. He looked like a weird parrot after eating two boxes of chocolate. ?No! No! This place is amazing! And look! Those kids are playing soccer!? He screeched and clapped. I saw our neighbors playing soccer. When Giova was about to agree ?Yeah!? Agus started rolling down from the muddy inclined hill.
the second I stepped into the wet field, I was already full with mud. I kicked the hard 2014-World-Cup ball, and I slipped into probably the deepest, wettest and smelliest pile of mud there was. I laughed hard, and everything echoed. My fun self was back to life! When I was running at a super fast speed, and was about to score a goal, the defense stopped the goal, and kicked the ball so far, it went into the air. I ran for it, was about to grab it. ?Come on, fast!? Agus warned. I jumped, and it touched the tip of my finger, but it slipped and went into the ?endless? green woods beside the field. ?Oh no.? I moaned. When I was about to go to get or better of SAVE the ball, Giova went running into the big woods, and disappeared. For what seemed like ages, because we were having so much fun, Giova went back with a smelly, brown with mud ball, that I think had poo on it. Agus went running towards it, with an open happy mouth, kicked it, and splat mud (and poo...I think) on Giova?s face. She laughed. We kept on playing. Suddenly, I thought someone turned off the lights, (or not) because it was dark. There was no sun, just a piece of cheese floating in the sky. I blinked. ?Martina! MARTIIIII!! Come on we gotta go!? Giova yelled.
?Agus don?t do tha-? I began. ?ugh? too late? ? I sighed. Giova didn?t roll, but ran downhill, splattering mud on every step, and I went through the gray, bumpy, concrete path.
?How many times have I told you?? I stared at her with a very confused face. Then, I remembered.
They started playing soccer, and were already full with mud.
?No!? Agus corrected. ?Three!? I started walking towards them.
I sat on a bench, it was wet.
?Ok.? I mumbled. It was so weird. The grass stopped being wet, and now it was crunchy. Crunch? Crunch? I walked. We started playing the typical ?Whoever gets there last is a rotten egg!? game. So, ?Whoever gets to the house last is a tomato!? Agus shouted. I flinched.
?Gosh! I?m tired. I?ll just sit he-? My blue-jean shorts were wet from the rough, brown and old fashioned bench. I turned red.
Ok? whatever? ? I breathed. I saw they were having so much fun and I started changing my mind, standing up, but I hesitated. The same thing happened over three times, but then I didn?t hesitate. I yelled like a tarzan-monkey, and I ran over, and just like the others,
?One?? I guessed.
?NO! Whoever gets to the house last is a rotten egg!? ?The first one is a tomato? ? Agus complained. So we started running. I really didn?t care about being a tomato, if I got first. 20
CONTINUED..THE ADVENTURES OF GIOVA... Every time we stepped, everything echoed. But unfortunately, beside me, instead of an echo, I heard a squish? My brother stepped on fresh, yucky and gooey DOG POO... ?Why does it smell so bad?? He asked. ?Eww! You stepped on dog poo!!? Giova anounced. Agus put a happy face. How wasn?t he worried?!? ?Ok!!? he laughed. ?Yeah? This boy is weird.? I thought. We kept on running. This time, it was echo squish. Echo squish. When we got to the big three-story brick house , (my brother was tomato, Giova was rotten egg, and I was Martina because I didn?t win nor lose.) My mom was outside waiting for us. ?Oh my god! What is this mess! You can?t show yourselves to the guests like that!!? She criticized. ?Go bath! And Agus, is that dog poo? Leave your shoes outside. Guests will arrive any second now.?
The moment of the inscriptions arrived, my mom was sitting at the desk chair looking at the computer with my sister, it was all really silent. My mom put a finger on the mouse and clicked at ?Inscriptions for instruments?. They were watching really carefully; she clicked at ?Guitar? and? in less than 5 seconds, all the spaces were already taken. It was too late! All the spaces to play guitar were occupied, so my sister, almost crying, sighed, ?Well, I guess I?ll have to choose to play the flute!? She was really really sad. After some days, my sister was still really sad. My parents didn?t know what to do. Until they had an idea. They decided to adopt a doggy! It was a surprise for me and my siblings. They adopted the doggy from a family that had three dogs. The family said they didn?t have enough money to take care of the three dogs. That?s why they were trying to find a new owner for one of their dogs. My parents decided to adopt a dog because my sister really loves animals.
The guests pulled off. They arrived. I could see their elegant clothes, and my younger cousins were there too, and were even cleaner than us. They were all clean, and their faces were as smooth as a satin sheet. We occupied the three burning hot, tile wall bathrooms, and heard wine glasses chattering while they did cheers. ?Well, this was a weird afternoon? ? I thought.
?We are adopting him!? my parents announced excitedly. The dog my parents adopted was a dog breed that wasn?t so good with children and we didn?t know that. We adopted the dog and the family told us it was 2 months old. Something strange about this dog was that every time my dad came home from work, the dog got really scared and almost bit him. We thought he got scared because maybe another man had hurt him before.
THEDAYI GOTCHUBACCA
At first, the dog was nice with me and my siblings. But the next morning it all changed. My sister was petting the dog and suddenly? rrrr!! The dog opened its mouth, showed its sharp teeth and bit my sister! My sister was crying.
By: Valentina Moya ?Is it a bunny or a puppy?!? You might be asking how this happened, I?ll explain. It all started a sunny morning at Newton College (my other school). My sister had just had a talk at school about all the instruments she could choose to play at school. She was really excited because in 1st grade you could choose to play between 4 different instruments: violin, cello, flute or guitar. My sister really wanted to play the guitar because my dad and my brother knew how to play the guitar. After school, any of my parents could do the inscriptions for the guitar group for my sister. In this case, my mom would do it.
We then took my sister to the doctor and the dog to the veterinarian. At the vet, they told us our dog was 2 years old! We were impressed. The dog?s old owners had lied to us just so we would adopt the dog! That same day, my parents returned the dog to the family they had adopted
it from. ?Sorry for the inconvenience you had, luckily we already found an old woman who wants the dog? apologized the old owners in an embarrassed voice. We were all really angry with the owners. My siblings and I were also really sad because we didn?t have a dog anymore.

CONTINUED...THE DAY I GOT CHUBACCA.. music teachers! After that, the music teachers let that kid and my sister enter the guitar group! Finally, my sister got a guitar and a doggy! She was so lucky! Now my dog is three years old and my family and I are very happy. My parents were looking for dogs to buy now because we had already had a bad experience adopting dogs. They researched a lot before buying a doggy. They then went to a store called ?Pet Store? at a mall. There, they found a lot of animals like bunnies, hamsters, cats, dogs, etc. Afterwards they walked some more around the store and suddenly, they saw a little white puppy in a cage. They asked what breed this dog was and the pet store managers told my parents it was a Bichon Maltese. This was the dog breed we wanted! This was the perfect dog, my dog, Chewi! ?I think this one?s the right one? blurted out my dad. ?So let?s buy him!? exclaimed my mom. My parents had chosen very carefully the breed of my dog: a dog who didn?t leave any hair on the floor (because my brother is allergic), a dog who is kind with children, a dog who protects, and a small dog. When my parents bought my dog to my house, he was two months old (And now, my dog really had two months old. The persons at the petstore weren?t lying). My parents got home and my dad went to work. I came back from school not knowing what was waiting for me at home. At 3:00pm, I arrived at my house. My mom was really mysterious. I entered the door and cleaned my shoes on the doormat. ?Hi Vale, wash your hands please.? My mom demanded in a mysterious voice. At that moment, I noticed she was acting really mysterious. ?Hi!? I exclaimed. (my doggy Chewi was really little at that time, and the veterinarian told us we should always be careful with him. That?s why my mom told me to wash my hands) ?Ok? I?ll wash my hands? I said mysteriously. I walked to the bathroom to wash my hands and looked at the mirror. I wondered why my mom was so mysterious. ?How was school today?? my Mom asked at the same moment I was washing my hands. ?Good!? I answered.
me to go to the kitchen. I went passing in front of the dinning room and the living room. I was walking really slowly. I walked some more until I arrived to the kitchen?s main door. I walked and walked really slowly not knowing what was in there. It was all really silent. I was really excited. I opened the kitchen?s main door and? there was a little white pom pom ball walking! ?Awwww, it?s sooo cuteee!? I exclaimed. ?Is it a bunny or a puppy?!? I asked excitedly. My mom told me it was a puppy and I was really really excited. I then asked if I could touch it. ?Of course! But be careful because he?s just two months old!? exclaimed my mom. I touched it and I realized why my mom was really mysterious. That was definitely one of the cutest moments I have ever had in my entire life! Chewi (My new puppy), licked my face and moved his tail. I was soooo happy. At 4:00pm my siblings came back home from school and they got as excited and happy as I got (especially my sister, she got really happy). We also took some pictures with our new puppy. Now, my sister wasn?t sad anymore. After we all met our new puppy, we didn?t know how to name him. My sister wanted to call him snowflake because he was white, but we didn?t want that name. I remember we started looking for ?names for your dog? on Google on my mom?s cell phone. We looked up for a lot of names but we didn?t find any name that fit with him. ?He has a lot of hair, hmmm, hmmm, Aha! Chewbacca! Chewbacca from Star Wars has a lot of hair! Exclaimed my mom. ?YES? We all blurted out. ?We should call him Chewi!? my brother said. We all nodded excitedly. At that time, we were all Star Wars fans. I remember when Chewi (my doggy) was a puppy, he could fit on his own food dish! I also remember that when he was a puppy he would run and run and when he stopped, he would almost fall down! He was really cute! At last, there was another kid who didn't enter the guitar group, and guess what happened! His mom went to school and started a fight with the
