MISSION VISION

PBA’s vision is to be the premier, Christian university offering whole-person education that prepares students from around the globe to tackle the problems of their day with godly character, open arms and a servant’s heart.

Dear Friends,

Palm Beach Atlantic University has a significant opportunity to dream God-Sized Dreams and expand our campus. I’m convinced the time to move forward with boldness is now.

leaders. God has called these men and women to carry influence within every sphere of society — and it’s our responsibility to provide the foundation and resources they need to accomplish His will.

Our strategic vision includes an ambitious, multi-phased master plan to improve our campus and maximize available land. This plan is anchored in PBA’s core values and responsive to where our community—and the world— are headed.

To remain competitive and responsive to marketplace changes, we are committed to continuously improving our learning community, expanding relevant program offerings and building forward-thinking, life-giving spaces. PBA must expand our facilities so that students, industry leaders and the community can continue to engage, create and expand the latest innovative ideas in their fields of expertise.

The first initiative of our master plan is focused on elite business education. The impact on the Marshall E. Rinker Sr. School of Business will be profound. By reinvesting in our campus and our students today, PBA will continue to inspire and launch the next generation of business

I’m proud to say we have been good stewards of our resources and facilities, but there is simply no more room! Our business facilities must provide innovative, flexible and technologically-advanced academic and creative spaces to match our programmatic excellence. God has been stirring my heart with the verse from Isaiah 54:2. We need to stretch out our campus “tent.” We can’t do it without your input and support. We invite you to explore what lies before us as we Dream God-Sized Dreams. I’m also excited to give you a sneak peek of other profound and exciting initiatives coming up in Phase 1 of our campaign.

In partnership and service,

The Time is Now

The intentional positioning of South Florida as a business destination has enabled PBA to become a hub where business, technology, healthcare, thought leadership and innovation flourish. South Florida is fast becoming a trendsetter for emerging marketplace movements that influence the rest of the country and the world. Palm Beach County is a rich entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports business and education.

Strategically Positioned

PBA’s 29-acre campus, located across the street from numerous Fortune 500 companies, positions its students in high demand for internships and employment. Many companies have recognized the immediate benefit of having a dynamic, local university producing capable young leaders as a solidifying reason to establish roots in West Palm Beach.

PBA regularly fields contacts from across industries looking for our best graduates. The Marshall E. Rinker Sr. School of Business is on track to receive AACSB accreditation this spring. AACSB accreditation is recognized worldwide as the most prestigious an institution and its business programs can earn.

Answering the Call

PBA is called to produce the types of interns and graduates needed to support the advancement of industry in our region - both today and into the future. With our combined enrollment growth, program expansion and graduate success, the time is now to answer the call. PBA must provide the learning environment and facilities that enable students to unleash their full potential.

Downtown West Palm Beach is being called “Wall Street South” as major financial firms, as well as small, boutique specialty investment companies, are moving offices to the area. Some of the notable names expanding their presence include Goldman Sachs, Interactive Brokers, Virtu Financial, Clarfeld/Citizens Wealth Management, Colony Capital, Point72 Asset Management and Elliot Investment Management.

Dreaming God–Sized Dreams… PBA’s Campus Master Plan

It is time to build the God-Sized Dreams.

Reimagining the Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker

PHASE ONE CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

Health Sciences Complex

In partnership with a well-known healthcare provider, we are thankful to expand our health sciences program and create a clinic with a surgical center and a pharmacy to serve the community. Our students and faculty will come alongside specialists to engage in exceptional service, learning and research. This will result in the building of a new multi-use state-of-the-art facility with additional parking, tiered outdoor and event space and learning spaces.

Student & Alumni Welcome Center

This will provide a much needed central space for students and alumni to relax, study and connect. The Student & Alumni Welcome Center will house Enrollment Management and Advancement, making it a wonderful place to welcome prospective students, parents and alumni.

Arts and culture take center stage in our community and the lives of our students. A stunning 1,000-seat performing arts auditorium with creative spaces and classrooms will become home to our fine arts programs. This customdesigned space will unleash a new level of potential in our students to celebrate the multi-faceted expression of the arts and cultural iconography, with special space for music, dance and theatre.
