The Gravenhurst Ambulance Station was built in 2006 adjacent to Muskoka Wharf. It is a two bay ambulance station featuring accommodation for first responder teams.
This National Historical site was built 1933, Muskoka Airport was an RCAF base for flight training. In 1942, the field was made available to the Royal Norwegian Air Force and became known as “Little Norway.”

The station is an excellent example of early 20th-century railway architecture and is one of a few early stations remaining in Central Ontario. The Station is used today for Ontario Northland bus service and the Station Café.

An elegant Victorian home on the main street of Gravenhurst. Only a few owners have lived here since the original one, Warnicke family. A charming reading cottage and fish pond enhance the private gardens of the 2 storey gabled residence.
Observe traditional Muskoka boat building of the early 1900s as a group of dedicated volunteers work to restore a variety of wooden boats and canoes.
Opened in 1923, this was one of the last Carnegie libraries built in North America. Named for Terence Haight, a donor of over a million dollars to the Town, creating the Haight Endowment fund, to be used for community priorities.
WEST GRAVENHURST (SAW DUST CITY) WALKING TOUR 803 MUSKOKA RD 169 MUSKOKA BAY PARK 3 Guided Tour times - 11:00 a.m.; 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Starting in the 1870’s and ending when all of the timber in the area was cut, the west side of Gravehurst had up to 13 lumber mills running. This tour will include sites of these mills, former school, lumber houses, a former resort, railway tracks, site of post office and photos of boats.
