Welcome to the 27th annual Freyburn Family Tradition Bull & Female Sale. What a time to be in the cattle industry!
2024 was an amazing year at Freyburn. Our youngest son, Joran, counted up and informed us that we had won 53 banners in 2024. This year’s sale offering is loaded with genetic potential and is the deepest quality we have ever offered.
The ration for our bull pen is designed to bring the bulls along slowly allowing them to grow and mature slowly to ensure their longevity. The bulls have been hand fed a steam rolled, balanced, bull grower ration from Trouw Nutrition, and fed free choice hay. They have been wintered in a 20 acre paddock getting lots of exercise. The bull pen has undergone rigorous culling for foot structure, temperment and performance. All bulls will be measured and palpated by a vet before the sale and will be delivered once they pass their semen test. If you have any questions about this please give us a call.

The purebred heifers in the sale are from the top end of the pen. This is the only time of the year that we sell females at Freyburn, so buy with confidence. The Commercial heifers will sell in group of 3 and are from the heart of our commercial herd. You will travel a lot of miles to find females of this caliber. The females will all be vet checked before the sale.

Freyburn Angus Farms guarantees to provide you with a sound, fertile bull, capable of servicing a reasonable number of cows. If your Freyburn bull should fail to be a satisfactory breeder, he will be replaced with a bull of equal value, or a credit will be issued towards the purchase of another Freyburn Angus Farms bull. Should you have a problem with one of our bulls please notify us immediately. Freyburn will not provide replacement or credit for physical injury or mismangement. Therefore we stress the importance of insurance on your bull. An insurance agent will be available on sale day.

We enjoy her helping hand, bubbly personality and many many laughs. She will be greatly missed when she heads back down under. We can’t wait for her to join us again. Thank you!
We are grateful for an incredible fall run, with that comes an incredible, hard working, talented, and exceptional crew to have along the way with us. We are very thankful for the young men and women who we spend many long days and short (or long nights) together. Tristan Tober, Rachel Tober, Charlotte Dendy, Dave Morrow, Leah Frey and Karl Orr. Also thank you to all the show day helpers that come and lend a extra hand when we needed them. It is with great pleasure to have your talent helping out. A huge shout out to Dad for taking time out of his retirement to take care of things at home while we are away showing cattle.
