Message for the Class of 2023 My warmest greetings to the Class of 2023 for the successful culmination of your academic endeavors.

This milestone attests to the hard work and perseverance you have exemplified as you embark on another journey leading you to the realization of your aspirations of a better life and a better future.

I join your families and academic communities in celebrating this achievement.

We recognize their valuable role in your growth and development as well-rounded individuals — preparing you to face the demands of higher learning or navigate the complexity of life as successful professionals.

I am with you in forging a path toward progress even as you continue to live by the tenets that have guided you in your academic training and inspired you to pursue excellence as young leaders.

Isang mapagpalang araw na punong-puno ng galak, pasasalamat, at pag-asa sa ating lahat. Ito ang aming mapusong bat pasa sa 20222023 K to 12 basic Education Program End-Of-School Year (EOSY) Rites.

Anchored on the theme “K to 12 Graduates: Molded through a Resilient Educational Foundation”, this year’s graduation and moving up ceremonies are a significant testimony of the fruits of Labor that we celebrate today with our graduates and completers.

These solemn and meaningful rites recognize and honor our learner’s academic achievements and the competencies that need for the subsequent stages of the basic education program such as pursuing higher education or middle level skills development or for employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.

These achievements did not come by chance. They are a product of our clear vision mission, competent leadership, strong collaboration, and sustained commitment, which we all commemorate in this significant milestone.

We celebrate the successes of our DepEd NorMIn learners honed by a resilient quality basic education that is accessible, inclusive, liberating, and responsive to the changing needs of the time.

But the challenges of the new learning landscape continue to stare us fully in the face. Therefore, we must also continue to revisit our goals, rekindle our commitment, and pursue our strategies to ensure that we are on board and in one direction toward achieving the Department’s MATATAG agenda.

Subalit ako, kasama ang buong Kagawaran ng Edukasyon sa Amihanang Mindanao, ay panatag at naniniwalang ang mga nagsipagtapos ng K to 12 ay kakayanin ang susunod na mga hamon anumang landas ang kanilang tatahakin dahil sila ay hinubog ng matatag na edukasyon. Kaya patuloy at sama-sama nating harapin ang bukas at pagtagumpayan ang bawat hamon sa makabagong panahon.

As we pick up anew our daily routines that were forcefully reconfigured by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are closing the 20222023 school year with the end of school year rites theme: “Gradweyt ng K to 12: Hinubog ng Mtatag na Edukasyon” (K to 12 Graduates: Molded through a Resilient Educational Foundation).

That means that the students, parents and teachers are also strong, flexible and adaptable to have withstood the various stresses and pressures along the way towards success in the educational endeavor.

Thus, kudos to the students, the parents, teachers and school administrators for a job well done.

Your persistence and hard work have paid off.

Corona Virus, known as COVID-19 is an infectious disease that causes illness in the respiratory system in humans. This epidemic has affected millions of peole around the world. This andemic also had a significant impact in students’ learning recently.

Isolated, abandoned and depressed, those are the words used to describe how our students feel during this COVID-19 pandemic. A record number of children and young people have been affected by the closure of education institutions that halts the spread of the Covid 19 virus. Our students’ learning has been put at risk. Most of htem must study online with little social interactions, with the difficulties to communicate with other students and teacher online because of some circumstances met.

Because of eagerness tos trengthen educatioin systems to ensure and deliver qual;ity educatioin in resonse to Covid 19 crisis. Education authorities and other government agencies present concrete recommendations to build resilient education system.

Recommended various programs that cover actions that address prevention, preparedness and response to health emergencies and andemic to help ensure no child is denied to fundamental right to education. They have not focus only in the developing policies and providing service, they also build the resilience of schools to provide emotional support and care for teachers and students and the resilience of students themselves.

Graduates and Completers for this SY 20222023, you have been shaped by your own experiences, You have overcome and withstand the test of time, You have proven the resilience among yourselves and still stand against COVID19 pandemic. You are now ready to face the future.
