Oz Clarke will lead a tasting of a number of carefully selected wines, as well as signing copies of The Oz Clarke Pocket Wine Book 2014. Tickets £10; includes wine tasting.

Fireworks at Jarrolds Thursday 21 November, 7pm Enjoy the festive atmosphere from 6.15pm in the city centre and then watch the city’s Christmas lights switched on at 7pm, followed by a burst of fireworks from the rooftops of the City Hall and Jarrolds.

Sunday 1 December, 11am The arrival of Father Christmas, a fine Norwich tradition. Don’t miss the chance to be among the first to greet him this year.

Carols at Jarrold Sunday 8 December, 12.30pm Listen to the Norwich Philharmonic Choir as they move around the store singing a festive mix of traditional and new carols.

The choir will commence on the lower ground floor at 12.30pm.

The Ducale brand appeared for the first time in 1930s to mark the high-end pens of the Elmo line. The name drew inspiration from the famous Doge's Palace, one of the symbols of the city of Venice and Venetian Gothic masterpiece, located in the monumental Piazza San Marco, between the Piazzetta and the Pier.
