Impressions of Thailand

This January, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Thailand with my girlfriend, Marisa, and her mom, Sumanee. Marisa, who is half Thai, was born in Northern Thailand, so this was a deeply meaningful trip. It was her first return home in many years, so I felt incredibly lucky to share this experience with her!
Our days were filled with wonderful memories. Home-cooked meals shared around family tables, peaceful morning sunrises at the temples, and endless inspiration from the beautiful, ornate architecture we encountered. I also had the opportunity to visit a wonderful art studio, Wannarit Studio, in Bangkok. It’s exciting to see the representational art scene flourishing there.
I’m so grateful to Marisa and her family for their warmth and generosity. And Marisa was so kind to translate along the way which made this journey so much richer. Finally, my heartfelt thanks go to the wonderful people of Thailand, who welcomed me with kindness and hospitality every step of the way.
