Ottawa County’s climate is pleasant with four distinct seasons. Crisp fall weather leads to winters that are affected by lake effect snow, which can be extreme yet lends itself to stunning landscapes made for cold-weather activities. Spring in West Michigan brings cool to moderate temperatures, showers, and plenty of fresh greens and new blooms. Summers are warm and sometimes humid, which draws residents to the refreshing shores of Lake Michigan beaches. No matter the season, there’s beauty and activity all around!
