Located midway between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek and convenient to both I-94 and US 131, Greater Gull Lake is 15 minutes or less to anything you could need or want. As the region’s namesake, Gull Lake draws visitors from around the Midwest to its 18 miles of shoreline and rare turquoise waters for fishing, boating and beach-side fun. The natural beauty of the area, with its many lakes, streams and rolling hills has long attracted vacationers and home owners alike and many sought after neighborhoods have sprung up to support the growing population. The area enjoys a plethora of regionally and nationally known attractions and activities for people of all ages. At the hub of the area and intersection of two Michigan highways is the historic Village of Richland. With its quintessential town square and numerous businesses, restaurants and shops, Richland boasts the feel of a quaint historic village, the local conveniences of a city and the recreation of a resort community. The award-winning Gull Lake Community Schools offer their 3200+ students traditional, online, alternative and homeschool options as well as the opportunity to earn up to 60 college credits through their EMC program. Since its early 1800’s Gull Prairie beginnings to the growing and active community it is today, there’s always been a lot to love about Greater Gull Lake!
