Vaughan is an international lighting company established in 1983. With showrooms in London, New York and Paris and distributors worldwide, Vaughan has a huge collection of lighting, furniture and textiles which are globally renowned for their quality and unique style. From London, our contracts team handle hotel projects both in the UK and worldwide, working with interior designers, hotel specifiers, yacht designers, property developers and architects. They offer a personal, friendly service helping clients with all project requirements from initial quotation to advising on wiring specifications, the design of lampshades, shipping requirements and supplying compliance certificates.

Design Philosophy An appreciation of original design and traditional manufacturing methods remains the foundation of the Vaughan ethos. Materials and Finishes Vaughan’s products are made using some of the finest and most durable traditional materials. Every material adds its own qualities to our designs and our craftspeople employ traditional manufacturing methods which give a rare depth and beauty to the finishes. Our brass designs are made using solid cast brass which is also used as the base material for many of our nickel and bronze designs. Highly skilled glass workers hand blow our unmoulded crystal and glass designs. Our alabaster is quarried in Italy and Spain, our ceramics are manufactured using a variety of techniques and glazes including earthenware, porcelain and stoneware. Using authentic materials and manufacturing processes ensures we are consistently able to design and produce the highest quality products as we always have done.

Craftsmanship An appreciation of traditional and authentic manufacturing is fundamental to each and every Vaughan product. Highly skilled craftspeople, some of whom have supplied Vaughan for over 30 years, work closely with the in-house design team. These craftspeople skilfully translate our designs, often involving complex engineering, into beautiful finished products.
