the Meetcreator Our Founder Janetha Richard /krēˈādiv/ USA, New Orleans, LA Founder of DollBaby Beautē Brand The creation of DollBaby Beauté was a labor of love born of necessity.

A child of New Orleans, Janetha grew up in a world of cosmetology.

Her mother S. Richard, was both a hairstylist and Beauty Instructor, alongside a host of friends and relatives in the profession. These roots made becoming a hairstylist a logical fit and offered her an opportunity to hone her business skills.

However, a visual artist at heart, Janetha later abandoned her novel career as a hairstylist to explore the arts full time. This mix of entrepreneurship and creativity lead to the founding of ADism Media Group, a small marketing agency founded with her husband and business partner Ryan Jackson Sr. Then one day, Janetha realized her teenage daughter was using an old toothbrush to style her edges. As a former stylist, she immediately understood the downside of the crude method and went in search of a proper edge tool. To her surprise, there were no professional-grade options available. Recognizing the faux pas in the market, Janetha immediately went into creative mode. The concept of EDGI Brush was created and DollBaby was born.

In the summer of 2017, DollBaby Beautē was launched, with a mission to educate consumers on healthy edge care and make “using an old toothbrush for styling edges”; a thing of the past.
