Janetha Richard
/krēˈādiv/ USA, New Orleans, LA Janetha Richard is a visual artist, writer and entrepreneur born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her creative talents made her an entrepreneur by the age of 19, when she partnered with her mother to open their first beauty salon in 1992. Since that time Janetha has remained true to her entrepreneurial roots and has went on to start several creative businesses including Jellybean Publishing where she penned The Shampoo Chronicles and illustrated three children’s books. In her day profession, she is founder and CEO of ADism Media Group, a creative marketing firm based in Houston. The DollBaby concept began when Janetha went on a mission eliminate an age old beauty faux pas. In June of 2016 she launched DollBaby Beauty Brand, with the introduction of the EDGI Brush. A clever grooming tool designed to erase the “Cosmetic Toothbrush” from the beauty lexicon forever. Soon after, Janetha began development of the EXFO and Brow Brush. The rest will be beauty history. “DollBaby brought me full circle to my stylist roots and allowed me to combine my love of marketing, beauty and business! I couldn’t be happier!” says Richard. DollBaby plans to expand the line to include signature cosmetics and other beauty accessories that address cultural needs and celebrate the beauty in us all.
