The Soho Lighting Company

London & Cornwall

A British luxury lighting company founded in London using innovative technology to create sustainable, artisan lighting. Sustainability is central to Soho Lighting’s design processes and business practices. From the choice of materials and manufacturing methods, to their consideration of a product’s lifecycle and circularity, they are committed to making a positive impact on both people and the planet as well as championing British artisan talent.

Soho Lighting designs in London and operates out of Cornwall, where local craftspeople work hand-inhand with electrical experts to conceptualise and craft elegant lighting. Lee Lovett, the founder of Soho Lighting says “Cornwall is known for its craft heritage and environmental values, so it was the perfect location for laying down our own creative roots.”

Soho Lighting’s new dimming toggle, with engraving options, provides reliable, energy-saving lighting control without the persistent buzzing and flickering often associated with dimming switches.

The new Ocean Collection’s striking designs are 3-D printed from recycled plastics and fishing nets salvaged from the sea. When lit, this delicate material resembles linen or glass and lends a gentle glow to the surrounding space. +44(0)7526

BLUE PATCH AT THE LONDON DESIGN FAIR 2023

Blue Patch’s installation, Homes With A Heart, curated by design writer and consultant Roddy Clarke, showcases how we can create comfortable, welcoming spaces using products and materials that are consciously sourced from accredited and local supply chains - all by members of the Blue Patch community.

Every September, London Design Fair features over 200 designers and brands, cutting-edge installations, collaborations and workshops. The event spans four days and is the perfect occasion to spot the latest talent and meet the Blue Patch community too.

“We are so excited to be working with Blue Patch, and collaborating with Roddy Clarke, to bring to life ‘Homes with a Heart’. Visitors at this year’s Fair will immerse themselves in a beautifully and sustainably designed home, featuring a selection of truly inspiring environmentally conscious creators.”
