Haibun: Candle Lights in the Clouds

Light the Christ-light. Pass the flame. Fill the church-hall with tiny, flickering candle lights. The lights shine before us, held in our hands, and they are reflected in the window that overlooks Los Angeles, too, as if a whole host of Invisible Spirits were holding their candle lights in the clouds, singing Silent Night with us on Christmas Eve.
