TEXTURE AND MATERIALS

• The materials mostly used are natural/raw materials such as stone, terracotta, brick and wood. The ceiling beams are likely to be made of raw, unfinished wood. The floors are normally finished with darker colour timber floor or stone tiled which is in dark earth tones like terra-cotta or natural stone floor tiles; stained wood cabinets in the kitchen with terra-cotta pots; classic, Mediterranean style furniture made of richly stained wood with highly polished finish and aged plaster walls or textured walls or stone walls.

• It uses painting and solid wooden accessories for décor.

• Some countertops are also made of marble.
