Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds. Bidding: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder... no by-bidding will be per mitted. Disputes - Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on all dis putes will be final. Announcements: All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures.

Breeder’s Guarantee: Should any bull fourteen (14) months of age or over fail to prove a breeder after being used on females known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the seller within six (6) months following the date of purchase or six (6) months after the bull has reached fourteen (14) months of age. The seller will have the right and privilege of six (6) months to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will freeze. Exception Guarantee: In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void. Certificate of Registration: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association. A certificate of reg istry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. Liabilities: All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is un derstood that T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may in exceptional cases be taken must be between the buyer and the seller. T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to the buyer. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.

I would like to welcome everyone to the 2nd addition of the MISS Prairie Cove Female Sale. It is with an abundance of excitement that I sit down to write the “welcome”, the Charolais breed of cattle is on a roll in many ways with feeder cattle prices high and demand for Charolais cross cattle at an all time high. It is extreme ly rewarding to be a Charolais seedstock breeder, we get to visit so many people that tell their own story of the advantages that Charolais cattle offer to so many different people in the cattle industry.

Charolais cattle have been a vital part of my family for 3 generations, as my grand parents, Bill and Bubbles Bullick will be honoured this fall at Red Deer for being 50 year Charolais members, a huge accomplishment and testament to the dedica tion Prairie Cove Charolais has to this wonderful breed of cattle. I’d like to share a quick story about my grand parents Bill and Bubbles. They drove up to see us this year show in the Immortals show in Stettler, which at 97 years of age I hope I am still cruising around looking at Charolais! We had a heifer calf in the finals of all the breeds, hoping to win a side by side, we think very highly of this heifer and think we have very possibly built the very best Charolais Female to ever live at Prairie Cove Charolais. My grandma said to me “ yes, your heifers look very nice, but that one seems to be very… gutty, she might not do very well in the show.” I just thought to myself, I have been trying to breed Charolais cattle with that much belly and substance to them for the past 30 years ha! Needless to say its always good to have people in your life to keep you humble and your feet on the ground. But I still think she is the very best female to ever live at Prairie Cove Charolais!

I think this years addition of the MISS sale is the best we have ever offered and the line up is loaded with cattle that will go on to produce huge R.O.I. for their new owners. Prairie Cove females have gone on to work for so many different breeders from all over the world.
