November Gold 2025

Page 1

Welcome to our 13th November Gold Sale! We couldn’t be more excited to bring you this set of calves! Every year we say we think we have brought our best set yet, and I think as cattle producers that is what we all strive for- to keep putting our best foot forward and improving our herds year after year.

This cattle market is on fire! Never in our life time did we think we would see highs like this! From small calves, to heavy calves, to cull cows and bulls- you can’t miss. What an exciting time to be in the cattle business! We have saved high quality steers and heifers for you all this year. We have calves for all ages and all levels of competition. We truly believe if you flip through these pages, you will find a calf suited for your needs. Please do not hesitate to reach out to any of the consignors with any questions you may have- we would love to talk cattle with you! We have stuck to our guns the last 13 years and consistently brought our best to town, and this year is no exception.

It was another outstanding year for our November Gold Juniors! We saw Club Champions and Regional Champions across Saskatchewan and Alberta. We saw many Jackpot Champions, and many steers and heifers at Junior Shows throughout the year stand in the final drive. We also saw many young and first time members get through the ring themselves. You don’t have to win a ribbon for us to be proud- they are just icing on the cake. We had 5 steers in the Calgary Stampede this year and that was very exciting for us all! So to our Juniors and their families, we extend a huge thank you to you all for getting these calves down the road and doing a heck of a good job!

This year will look a little different for us with a new Auctioneer on the block. We would like to welcome Kolton McIntosh from Eriksdale, Manitoba to our crew. We all look forward to working with Kolton and are excited for what he brings to the table. With that, we owe a huge thank you to our good friend and Auctioneer, Mike Fleury. With over 40 years on the block, Mike has retired and is enjoying his time with his family. We will miss you Mike, but wish you all the best- you have earned it!

We look forward to seeing you all in Lloyd at their wonderful facility this Oct.18th! Make sure to mark the date in your calendar for another exciting group of steers and heifers. A group worth waiting for!

ARCH NACHO 639N SIRE/ HOW GREAT THOU ART DAM/ RUBY 227D (UNSTOPPABLE) DOB/ FEB.2 CONSIGNED BY ARCH HOLDINGS

Nacho was Champion Prospect Steer at both the Perdue and PA Fair this year. He very well may be the best steer we have ever raised. So impressed by this calf, we flushed his Dam this way this spring. Nacho is everything we like in a steer- big boned, big footed, big hipped, big topped, big middled- BIG TIME. He is sound- he can get out and move. He is as hairy as you can make them and as quiet as they come. The potential is endless for this calf. We are very excited to see where this year will take him.

ARCH DONNIE 643N

SIRE/ HERE I AM DAM/ 145B (SIMMENTAL) DOB/ FEB.14 CONSIGNED BY ARCH HOLDINGS

Here I Am cranked out both Champions at the Calgary Stampede this year, and this Here I Am steer continues to impress us each day. He comes out of one of our ultimate favorite commercial Simmy cows 145B. She is an Earley Livestock cow that has had almost every calf she has produced grace the November Gold Sale ring. We are hoping for a heifer before her career of a herd matron comes to an end! Donnie has that show steer look- huge fuzzy ears, big stout hip, big top and a tremendous hair coat. We feel Donnie has as much potential as any steer we have ever offered through this sale ring. Have a look here- this guy has all the right pieces.

ARCH CHEESE 611N SIRE/ ORANGE CRUSH DAM/ 467K (STEAM ROLLER) DOB/ JAN.11

CONSIGNED BY ARCH HOLDINGS

Rifled around deep in the AI tank this year and pulled out one of the original orange bulls- Orange Crush. He can still do it. Cheese is just a good honest steer. Really is hard to poke a hole in this guy He is stout, big topped, long bodied and big boned with a huge foot under him. He is so very quiet and would be great for any age. Good haired and nice headed- we think Cheese has endless potential.

ARCH CHEETO 640N

SIRE/ WALKS ALONE DAM/ 224D (SIMMENTAL) DOB/ FEB.7 CONSIGNED BY ARCH HOLDINGS

Another one to prove that old clubby genetics can still get it done. Walks Alone will always be one of our favorite sires to use. He has yet to disappoint us. Cheeto is stout- big hipped, soft middled, big topped, good haired and can move. He likes to eat and we think he will feed out well to be competitive. His cherry red color and big fuzzy ears will be sure to get you noticed!

ARCH GATOR 641N

SIRE/ I AM HERE

DAM/ PICK 711E (MAINE)

DOB/ FEB.12

CONSIGNED BY ARCH HOLDINGS

Gator is out of a big maine cow we purchased from Pick Six cattle. This cross just clicked for us. This I Am Here steer has impressed us since he was a baby. He is so good natured, making him a dream to work on. He is very long bodied and profiles very nice. We really admire his front 1/3, with a nice smooth shoulder and great neck extension. He has an awesome hair coat and will be a fun one to show!

ARCH ELVIS 638N

SIRE/ TOM SELLECK DAM/ 424J (SIMM/ANGUS)

DOB/ JAN.31

CONSIGNED BY ARCH HOLDINGS

Good old Tom Selleck can still get it done. We love the feedablilty and temperaments of our Tom calves. They love to eat, grow well, and make the best buddies. Elvis is a steer that we really admire his natural muscle pattern and overall look. He has a really nice front end and is huge hipped. He is good natured and we think this guy will feed easy and make someone a great 4H steer.

ARCH JIM BOB 642N

SIRE/ GRIZZ 56K (CCLT ALLIANCE)

DAM/ KATIE (I-67) DOB/ FEB.14 CONSIGNED BY ARCH HOLDINGS

Jim Bob is a full brother to Cacey Toner’s Kerrobert Regional Champion Steer last year. We think Jim Bob has just as much potential as his brother. This guy just continues to impress us each day. He is good hipped, soft middled and has a rocket front end. He can get out and travel really well. We think he will feed well like his brother before him- Cache tipped the scale at 1500 lbs by mid June. If you are looking for a great 4H steer with some extra added look- Jim Bob is your guy.

ARCH SPUDNUT 645N SIRE/ GRIZZ 56K (CCLT ALLIANCE) DAM/ 494K (COMFORT ZONE) DOB/ FEB.19

CONSIGNED BY ARCH HOLDINGS

Another Grizz calf here. This guy is super docile and would make a great project for all ages. He is big bellied, good hipped and has a really nice front end, to make a striking package. Simmy/Maine is our favorite cross for a reason- good growth with some extra style and flair. Spudnut has a great color and a great hair coat to top it all off. He will make a fun Junior project.

ELLDEM HOW GREAT 510N SIRE/ HOW GREAT THOU ART DAM/ LOLITTA (MONO MONEY) DOB/ JAN.10 CONSIGNED BY ELLDEM CATTLE INVESTMENTS

Lolitta knocked it out of the park again! This is the natural calf and only direct offspring available this year off of our tried and true donor cow. A full sib was purchased by Keylen Eaton at last years sale and was campaigned successfully making many miles around the country. When we compare him to the maternal sibs in the past, this one boosts a little extra rib shape and a touch softer middled. Yet keeping the same look and wicked hair as we’ve come to expect. He was part of our summer show string being Reserve Steer at Weldon as well as 3rd overall at PAEX.

ELLDEM MWA 501N

SIRE/ MAY WE ALL

DAM/ ELLDEM 321L (HIA/LOLITTA)

DOB/ JAN.1

CONSIGNED BY ELLDEM CATTLE INVESTMENTS

There is greatness bred into this one. A May We All off a first calf heifer whom just happens to be a full sib to the 2021 Calgary Champion Steer. If she continues to produce ones like this she will undoubtedly fast track herself to the donor pen. This is one we’ve liked all summer and is easy to find with his “look at me” attitude. Truly, a versatile type steer that will be highly competitive at the spring jackpots yet be manageable to campaign late into the summer.

ELLDEM/TINY PANDA 29N

SIRE/ I AM HERE

DAM/ MAINE/ANGUS/HEREFORD

DOB/ MAR.27

CONSIGNED BY ELLDEM CATTLE INVESTMENTS

When I first laid eyes on this calf while down in Alameda on a calf tour, I knew I had to get ahold of him for the sale. Since then has exceeded my expectations. An end of March calf that has about as much body and mass as any other in the offering. We think this guy could be big time and a serious contender next summer.

ELLDEM/TINY 1 OAK 34N

SIRE/ 1 OAK DAM/ DUBSTEP DOB/ MAR.29 CONSIGNED BY ELLDEM CATTLE INVESTMENTS

For any younger or first time showman that wants to have a competitive edge have a look here. This one has been an absolute treat to work on and is calm as a cucumber. Aside from his great disposition we feel he has a little added look, is nicely structured to be serious at some jackpot shows, while also displaying some ruggedness and power to be a contender at a finished beef 4H show.

ELLDEM/TINY HERE I AM 24N

SIRE/ HERE I AM

DAM/ ANGUS

DOB/ MAR.25

CONSIGNED BY ELLDEM CATTLE INVESTMENTS

We really like what his guy has to offer. Despite his young age he’s got tons of mass, squareness up high, and stands square and rugged on the ground. Super necked and excellent skeleton. Being as young as he is, it’s without a doubt he’ll be one to remain fresh and ready to be campaigned later in the season.

ELLDEM HGTA 527N

SIRE/ HOW GREAT THOU ART DAM/ SUGAR

DOB/ FEB.7 CONSIGNED BY ELLDEM CATTLE INVESTMENTS

Since weaning this one has really poured it on and shows huge potential to continue on that trend. He offers lots of rib, a nice square hip and overall width, and stands on an ideal leg structure. We are confident he’s got the right parts to grow up and be competitive. This would be a full ET brother to the 2025 Weyburn 4H Regional Champion Steer for the Fladeland family.

ELLDEM DMN 507N

SIRE/ DOUBT ME NOW

DAM/ 19G (SIMPLIFY)

DOB/ JAN.8

CONSIGNED BY ELLDEM CATTLE INVESTMENTS

Compared to his pen mates this guy hits the hardest on the profile. He’s attractive fronted and proud with tons of style. Body wise, he’s extra loose hided and will make a nice manageable feeding type steer. Lots of hair and a calm demeanour makes an excellent choice for a young or first time showman that wants a little extra hair to play with.

ELLDEM KING COBRA 537N

SIRE/ KING COBRA

DAM/ 820E (ANGUS)

DOB/ MAR.2

CONSIGNED BY ELLDEM CATTLE INVESTMENTS

High angus influence makes for a sure shot feeding steer with a little extra size and softness. An early March calf that already stands on his own in terms of maturity and do-ability. A maternal sib was sold to Addison Barnett and with a quick social media search one can see just how well that guy turned out for her. We think this one has a lot of similarities and could very well walk the same path with good management.

DAM/ MOLLY 455K (SIMM/CHAR)

DOB/ JAN.4

CONSIGNED BY ARCH HOLDINGS

REGISTERED ½ SIMMENTAL. This half blood heifer is a special one. Jack raised her off his own cow and campaigned her this summer. She hung banners at both her summer shows, being crowned Champion Commercial/Percentage Female at the Perdue Fair and Champion Princess Classic Jackpot Heifer at the PA Fair. We feel this is just the start for Mango. She is stout, hairy, sound, good fronted and great tempered. Out of a Timberwagon daughter with a beautiful udder, there is no doubt in our mind that she will make a cow when her show career is over. We have been using the GENEX calving ease bull Bold Ruler for a couple years and we really like his calves. They come easy and have a lot of grow. Jack retained Mango’s full sister into his herd last year, so he made the tough decision to offer this gal up for sale.

RSA ARCH SWEET DREAMS 616N

DOB/ JAN.10

DAM/ RSA SWEET TEA 375H (SFI SAVAGE)

CONSIGNED BY ARCH HOLDINGS

REGISTERED PUREBRED SIMMENTAL. We think Sweet Dreams is going to make a beautiful bred heifer. She has a beautiful head and neck, a swoopy belly, great hair, all rolled into a fresh and feminine package. We definitely feel her best days are ahead of her as she continues to change and impress us each day. She goes back to the old Simmental herd matron herself- Muirhead’s Timberland 7A on her Dam’s side, being a direct ET daughter out of SFI Savage. Sweet Dreams is a cookie cutter image of her Dam, and we feel she can go on to the show ring and then head out to pasture and crank out some good ones herself.

RSA ARCH ROSIE 647N

SIRE/ TWST ALLIANCE 56K

DAM/ ROSIE 134B (ANGUS)

DOB/ FEB.24

CONSIGNED BY ARCH HOLDINGS

REGISTERED ½ SIMMENTAL. This little late February girl is just a damn sweetheart! She has been a pet since day one and would make the perfect heifer if you have a Junior member that needs a quiet first calf! Her Dam Rosie 134B is no stranger to November Gold. She has seen countless steers and heifers go through this ring. Out of our young Simmy herdsire purchased from Twisted Sisters, we think this little half blood heifer can show in the ring and then go on to produce just like her mama. She is made nice with a great head and front end. She has tons of rib shape, she is sound and hairy. Rosie will be a fun one. We will be sad to see this friendly little gal go.

ARCH NAVY 621N

SIRE/ SHORTHORN DAM/ 401K (SIMMENTAL)

DOB/ JAN.14 CONSIGNED BY ARCH HOLDINGS

It’s been a hot minute since we have had a blue heifer to offer. This one is just flat good from every angle. She is made so nice with great neck extension, a pretty skull, big middle and straight top, all on a sound set of wheels. She goes back to Broker on her mama’s side so she definitely has the genetics to make some good ones. Navy has the look, the color and the balance to breed her any which way you like. Put her on a halter or just toss her in your front pasture and make your own show steers and heifers- you can’t go wrong either way. A really cool commercial heifer here!

Future donor alert! If this one doesn’t get your heart racing you better check your pulse. She has been an absolute stand out since birth and has been the start of a lot conversations as to if we should be selling her. Truly a hard one to poke a hole in. She’s big bellied, big hipped and big backed, yet remains so elegant and so pretty in her front third. She’s stands on excellent leg structure with tons of bone and good size of foot. A more maternal breeding look to this heifer which, is a lot like her donor dam. We are very confident that this one will show nicely and hold her own competitively this upcoming season. We have retained two full sibs to this heifer to implement back into our breeding program and believe the options are nearly endless as to how one might go ahead and breed this female in the future.

An amazing Auctioneer has set down his microphone. We would like to take this opportunity to Congratulate Mike Fleury on his retirement. With over 40 years on the block, Mike has decided to take a step back to spend time with his family, travel with his wife and enjoy those Grand Kids!

Mike, to us, you will always be much much more than just our auctioneer. 13 years ago a group of young cattle producers walked into your office with a dream of holding our own Prospect Sale and Junior Clinic. You took us under your wing and took that leap with us. Through the years you have watched us succeed and fail. You helped us welcome over 130 eager Junior members into your sale barn and hold clinics and competitions. You learned our pedigrees and programs and got excited each and every year about the direction we were heading, and the progress we were all making. We have shared many stories, laughs, handshakes and hugs. You have watched us all have kids of our own and grow up. You sir are much more than an Auctioneer to us here at November Gold. You are a mentor, an esteemed cattleman and a true friend.

We will miss hearing your voice and quick wit on that block, but we are so happy for you in your new journey, spending time with your family and watching your Grandchildren grow. So from all of us here at your November Gold family- THANK YOU! Thank you for believing in us all of these years. You will forever have a seat at our table.

Last fall you all opened your hearts and wrapped your arms around Sara & her family in a time of tragedy. With your outpouring generosity the Danny Magowan Legacy Fund was created with Better Together SK, raising over 16,000 dollars to raise awareness for Men’s Mental Health. The Manson Family, long time friends and supporters of us here at November Gold, stepped up to the plate and purchased Benny. Alex & Jack made a plan to continue fundraising for Better Together SK and feed and show Benny, in the end raffling him off donating the profits in honor of Jack’s Uncle Danny, and Alex’s dear friend Ryan Schemeneaur. With your continued support and generosity, Alex & Jack were able to raise over 5,000 more dollars for Better Together SK. We may slap some Champions here and win some ribbons, but I don’t think there will ever be another steer that has made such an impact in so many people’s lives. So to all of you for all of your support and love- Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
