2:00 p.m.............Fall Feature Charolais Female Sale Starts – Live and Online on DLMS

What a year it has been—one that tested the resilience of cattle producers across the country. From a long, harsh winter to a hot and dry summer, the challenges have been real. But for those of us still standing, we’re seeing the reward. Cattle prices are at historic highs, and for many, these are the kinds of returns we’ve waited our entire careers to see.

With the market where it is—and showing no signs of slowing down—there has never been a better time to invest in quality genetics. Whether you’re looking to build your herd, add fresh power to your program, or find your next show prospect, this year’s offering has something for everyone.

We’re proud to welcome you back to the Fall Feature Female Sale. This sale is once again brought to you by the same committed group of consignors, with the exciting addition of Fraser Livestock. They bring top-quality females and a strong reputation, and we’re pleased to have them join our team.

The consignors have truly stepped up this year, presenting an outstanding set of cattle—from bred heifers with maternal power to eye-catching heifer calves with show-ring potential and CCYA potential. Being personally involved in the selection process, I can confidently say this is one of the strongest offerings we’ve had to date.

We’re also pleased to continue working with Wright Livestock Marketing, the crew at Hoard’s Station Sale Barn, and DLMS to bring you a smooth and professional sale experience.

We invite you to come early on sale day, enjoy lunch on us, and take the opportunity to meet the consignors in person. If you have any questions about the offering, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of the consignors, Wright Livestock Marketing, or myself directly. If you’re on the lookout for a 2026 CCYA Junior prospect, be sure to speak with the consignors directly.

Thank you all for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the 2025 Fall Feature Sale!

WELCOME TO THE 6TH ANNUAL FALL FEATURE CHAROLAIS FEMALE SALE!

Year after year, this sale offering just keeps getting better and better, with top females from each of these programs being offered in this prestigious annual sale. Each consignor featured in this sale has consigned females that are functional foundation females that are capable of being those matriarchs that a herd can be built on or can compliment and do good things for that established herd adding those key breeding pieces.

Featured in these catalogue pages are heifer calves that can be taken and developed in whatever direction you are looking at taking them, whether that is a show animal project or developing her to hit the breeding heifer pen. The bred heifers are confirmed bred and carrying service to exciting herd sires backed by proven genetics. If you are looking for a proven producer, look no further than the two-year old cow featured, with her heifer calf being featured in the offering as well. You can see for yourself what she is capable of. From top to bottom, front page to last, you will find quality featured in these pages.

If you are a youth member looking at sourcing your next year’s CCYA (Canadian Charolais Youth Association) Conference project, which is held in Carp, Ontario in 2026, this sale is a fantastic place to find a competitive, top-quality female to compete with. You won’t find a better group of consignors who believe in the importance of youth in our industry. If you are an out-of-province member looking at finding that next special CCYA project to compete with and add to your herd, please do not hesitate to contact myself (Jon) or any one of the consignors if they have a female in the offering that interests you. We would be happy to assist you in finding “the one” you are looking for.

With the exciting, unprecedented times we are currently experiencing in the cattle industry, what better time to invest in your program by acquiring elite genetics to add to your herd.

We hope you join us on sale day, whether in person, through DLMS or over the phone, your interest in this sale and these programs is appreciated.

Sincerely,

J

This one’s a tough one to let go. “Big Sexy”—or Sexy Six as we lovingly call her—has truly captured the heart of our whole family. She’s the kind of heifer that lets the youngest kids scratch her belly and the older ones learn to clip and show on her. She’s patient when it counts, but don’t be fooled—she’s got a little sass and knows how to get her way. From day one, we’ve loved her for her big top, depth of rib, eyecatching femininity, and above all, her personality. If you were looking for that perfect family dog at the pound—this is her, just in cow form. She thrives on attention, aims to please, and isn’t afraid to get a little jealous if someone else is stealing the spotlight. She’s backed by a strong cow family—we’ve kept and shown several of her siblings and half-siblings, and we currently have her half-sister in the keeper pen. This cow family speaks for itself, having raised calves that go on to perform and help teach our kids to show. This girl’s been a favorite from the start. If you’re looking for a female that’ll make an incredible front-pasture brood cow, here she is. Don’t miss your chance— this one’s special! Bred to LT Del Rey 6161P on March 25th, 2025. Preg checked safe via ultrasound. Due January 1st, 2026.

This heifer is as elegant as they come! Her mother is a beautifully uddered Jack Black daughter out of a Braxton cow from Steppler Farms. Combine that with a Turton son and a side of our highly sought after Mirabelle genetics and you have a maternal masterpiece in the making!

Bred LT Countdown 9712 Pld March 27th. Exposed to XEB 1M April 1st to May 30th.

What a good buy we made at the Wrangler Dispersal when we purchased Ms Lena 147E! Two years in a row her daughters have been selected for the Fall Feature Sale. Last year’s bred heifer was sold to our friends at Kirlene Cattle. This year we have an HTA Galaxy 286K daughter. She is homo polled and PAF, as an added bonus. Nice, wellbalanced heifer, pretty headed with a temperament to match.

AIed March 27th to LT Remington 0038 Pld. Exposed April 6th to June 20th to ECS Marzipan 4M. Preg checked May 15th and favourable to the AI service. Offspring is guaranteed homo polled and PAF.

A powerful bred heifer that has a lot to offer, she’s loaded with performance and backed by a 10-year-old cow that clicks with every mating. Square hipped, long sided and yet still very feminine, she’s a hard one to pick a hole in. She sells bred to our home raised outcross herdsire, WhiteWater Mastercraft 21M. He’ll add maternal power without sacrificing performance, and is backed by our MXS 863U cow family that has been a staple here for over 15 years. The homework is done on this one, be sure to bid with confidence on sale day.

Exposed to WhiteWater Mastercraft 21M, April 19thJune 15th, 2025. Observed bred May 4th, ultrasound checked safe to that breeding.

Don’t let her name fool you, 7M is anything but “Minnie”. 7M is another daughter out of Tyson’s Amabec Buttercup, so we know for certain you can’t go wrong. We were very pleased with the Pleasant Dawn Mobile offspring as calves, and with a year under their belt, they continue to impress. Long sided and profiles beautifully with the added bonus of top 10% weaning and yearling EPD’s. Bred for an early January calf to LT Combat.

Bred March 24th, 2025, to LT Combat 2591 Pld.

This one definitely has cow power written all over her. Tanky, deep, big ribbed with bone galore, she is well balanced, correct on the move and carries herself with a natural presence that catches your eye every time you see her. Jon commented when he was here picturing that she is going make someone some nice herdbulls! Her full sister was a sale highlight last year that went to Parsons Cattle Co. in Alberta. This heifer was never supposed to leave here, but we wanted to offer our best and here she is!

Bred April 7th to LT Countdown 9712 PLD.

Style, capacity and explosive muscle shape would be my first adjectives when speaking of Miranda. Here is a dropdead gorgeous female in the making that we believe has the potential to produce top end, highly sought after offspring regardless of sex; easy calving bulls that will perform, heifers that will both show and produce. Her mom, Kansas 6K, is quickly becoming one of our top producers, knocking it out of the park with every calving. Given Miranda’s calving ease EPD and bred early to Revelation, she’s percolating one that most everyone is going to want. Don’t miss this producing machine!

Bred March 22nd to D R Revelation 467, no exposure.

When the selection committee picked her last year and I said hmmm….lets wait a year, hoping they wouldn’t find her this year, I was wrong. They found her quickly! May is a very smooth made heifer with loads of eye appeal. Bred April 7th to our new Heifer Bull Pleasant Dawn Gizmo 657M. With calving ease on top and bottom side, excited to see what her offspring will be come early January! Endless Possibilities!

Bred April 7th to Pleasant Dawn Gizmo 657M.

Function, capacity and balance are bred into this beautifully profiled bred heifer. In her short life, 55M’s dam continues to impress us with her consistent production. Backed up on the top side by one of our foundation herdsires whose progeny are still working across North America, Cedardale Winchester has left the industry with countless high producing females and herd bulls. If you like cattle that have rib, extension of neck, and that are beautifully structured don’t pass over this powerhouse female!

Checked safe to breeding LT Countdown 9712 Pld on April 21st, 2025.

A feature bred heifer that has tremendous cow power written all over her and one we think a lot of. MISS CEDARDALE 76M is massive in her rib design, extremely smooth made from end to end, structurally flawless with ideal teat size and placement. 76M was raised by a two-year-old that is going to wean a bull calf this year that is at the top of the bull calf crop. An exciting cow prospect with a fresh and exciting pedigree.

Bred April 4th, 2025 to LT Countdown 9712 Pld -Checked safe. Due January 11th, 2026.

We are very pleased to be invited to this year’s Fall Feature Sale. Molly is a longbodied LT Del Rey daughter that is going to make a strong cow for many years to come.

AI bred March 29th to SVY Historic 241K. Confirmed bred to SVY Historic 241K for an early January 2026 calf.

Love this heifer! Lena is the perfect balance of confirmation, EPD’s and eye appeal. We don’t normally offer from our fall long yearling heifer group, but this lady would be a definite bonus to any herd. Lena truly stands out and deserves a second look on sale day. Bred for an early January calf to CML No Worries.

Breeding date: March 24th, 2025, to CML No Worries 64H.

Here is a heifer that just keeps getting better everyday. She’s nice fronted, deep bodied and moves very well. There is lots of performance and longevity in her pedigree from her sire, and look for 4M to follow in her Revelation dam’s footsteps and become a no miss female.

Bred April 9th to LT Del Rey 6161 P.

2026 will mark 30 years with the ‘13’ Cow family line in our herd. Marvern Anne 13A and her heifer, Marvern Florence 1F, were the very first purebred Charolais purchase made at Kirlene Cattle. A lot can be said regarding longevity of family lines and how mating continues to improve, and Kirlene MoGo 13M is no exception. Our Hopewell Strada calves have provided tremendous growth and larger frame, coupled with a Gizmo mating, oh my, the possibilities are endless.

Bred May 1st to Pleasant Dawn Gizmo 657M.

Sunrise Molli 20M is one of our embryo twins and only on offer because we are able to retain her identical sister. Both caught to their first AI so fertility is proven. I remember years ago touring Sylvan Martin’s herd and seeing Northstar Maid walking the pasture - everyone noticed her - and I think all of us there wanted her too. Finally, thru the wonder of embryo transfer, we were able to get in on the action. Molli is a heifer that’s going to make front pasture when she reaches maturity. A hint of red, a wonderful temperament, a highly proven dam and a father who needs no introduction - Molli has it all. Bred early to Blueprint, the genetic potential of this sweetheart is extraordinary.

Bred March 30th to DCR Blueprint J7. No exposure.

A maternal powerhouse here that keeps getting better looking by the day. Flawless in her structural design, extremely feminine, massive in her rib cage and setting down a perfect udder. CED 81M offers an abundance of quality and brood cow potential with a powerful yet maternal pedigree to back her.

Bred May 2nd to LT Affinity 6221 Pld -Checked safe. Due February 8th, 2026.

If you are looking for an exceptionally correct female front to back with extra calving ease, Mandy should not be overlooked. Straight top line, deep barrel, nice neck extension with a solid foot and the added bonus of being bred to our new heifer bull and calving ease specialist Gizmo. Check her EPD’s and then check Gizmo’s EPD’s. Bred July 20th for April calving, junior calf/yearling potential. Options are Endless.

Bred July 20th to Pleasant Dawn Gizmo 657M.

Madeline is a great example of our Turnbull’s Equipped daughters. The perfect package with structural soundness and great feet and legs. Match this to her LT Combat breeding and just imagine the pair you will have next spring!

Breeding date: March 24th, 2025, to LT Combat 2591 Pld.

We absolutely love the muscle pattern and dimension this heifer carries. She’s long spined, elegant fronted and hits her stride with ease. Gossip Girl took the ring by storm as a calf, gaining many titles including Reserve Grand Champion female at the 2024 Lindsay Exhibition and overall High Point Heifer Calf in Ontario for 2024. Her full sister also hung her share of banners in 2023 including Reserve Grand Champion female at Barrie fair. Greatness is in this cow family. Bred to LT Countdown for an early January calf, we think this mating is sure to be one to watch for! If you like them big, powerful and hairy, 33M will check all of your boxes.

Bred LT Countdown 9712 Pld March 27th. Exposed to XEB 1M from April 1st to May 30th.

Incredible capacity, phenomenal depth of rib and true donor cow style is the way I would initially describe this heifer. No mistake, we took two of the best in this mating. Gina was part of Mike’s donor pen, hard won from his dispersal, and Backdraft was selected Player’s Club Champion to begin his prolific career. Here’s a bred heifer that is certain to add depth to any program. Just like the 14th century artistic masterpiece, this Mona Lisa is certain to captivate her audience for years to come.

Bred April 20th to SVY Historic 241K, no exposure.

Miss Cedardale 108M is a female we are awfully proud of. This is the kind of female that will produce those bulls that has made this breed so popular. If you like heifers that are loaded with shape and power, stand on extra bone, are wedge made, yet still good looking and attractive, mark this heifer down as one to find in the barn sale day. The Jaguar daughters we have in production are exceeding all expectations so far.

Bred April 11th to LT Countdown 9712 Pld -Checked safe. Due January 17th, 2026.

Long sided, level topped and well-balanced best describes 69M. From Harvie Solution 99J, a CCC Mescalito 9038 son, and a cow family that never misses, you can rest easy knowing this heifer will be here for the long haul! If you like cattle with eye appeal, cattle that are sound and cattle that have longevity working in your herd, then consider taking 69M home with you. Bred to LT Countdown for predictability and functionality, there is only upside to this opportunity!

Breeding: May 2nd, 2025, to LT Countdown 9712 Pld.

Stout on every corner and angle of her body sits this proud, easy doing female. She will inevitably turn into a top producing cow. Her sire is a past Players Club Champion and her dam is a heavy milking Xplorer daughter that does a great job year after year.

Bred April 16th to LT Del Rey 6161 P.

Not many females can boast of having 23 offspring registered at the age of 12, but Kirlene Delilah 6A, sold to Cadillac Stock Farms, the dam of Mel can. The Delilah/Haddock line has performed again and again for us. We have found the Haddock influence has squared up the udders along with providing lots of milk. Mel has a pleasant disposition with style and once again mated to our new heifer bull Gizmo. The options are Endless.

Bred April 13th to Pleasant Dawn Gizmo 657M.

This heifer has caught our eye with her impressive overall capacity, depth of rib, and brood cow potential. She carries herself with power and balance, and we’re confident she’ll mature into a productive female that adds performance to any cow herd. With a nice udder, good feet, and an exceptionally docile temperament, she checks all the boxes. We’re excited about her future—don’t miss the opportunity to add her to your program.

Bred to LT Del Rey 6161P on March 25th, 2025. Preg checked safe via ultrasound. Due January 1st, 2026.

Here is our 2-year-old offering, Blackbern Larissa 18L! A great female, putting everything into her calf, KBF 7N (also in the sale). Right from the start, I kept saying to Karen, let’s bring this pair in and show them this summer. But time has a way of speeding by and with the really wet spring and mud up to our ears, it just didn’t happen. Beautiful confirmation with an udder you’d love to see on every cow. Exposed to our walking sire, C2 Galeleo 3G (an LT Del Rey son) for a late February calving. Her heifer calf sells as lot 35.

Breeding date: Exposed to C2 Galeleo 3G from May 2nd, 2025, to June 15th, 2025.

It’s not very often we offer what we believe is our best heifer calf for sale, but here she is. CED 100N is a direct daughter of CEDARDALE MISS 52E, who is a full sister to the legendary and proven CEDARDALE ZEAL 125Z. 100N’s combination of look, power, substance of bone, added muscle, shape, along with the show winning presence elevates this calf to the elite level. Whether you are hunting for that heifer to compete on the show road at any level or your next foundation brood cow, this is one to study awfully close.

Here is a well put together heifer calf. Deep bodied, wide topped, moves out well and has that great hair everyone wants. 12N is a well-balanced heifer that we think will go on to make a very productive cow, just like her dam.

This heifer checks so many boxes for us. If you like them thick, smooth fronted and deep sided you’re going to love this female. Her dam continues to out do herself, weighing off our heaviest calf last fall and knocking it out of the park this year with 21N. The Till’s Echo females we have in our herd are great milkers and as sound as they come. We love the way this combination clicked. Evetta continues to impress us and we think the future of this heifer is a bright one!

Oh baby—21N was the underdog when we first put her in the keeper pen, but there was always something special about her. As she grew and developed, it quickly became clear why she earned her spot. She’s eye-catching and has that undeniable presence that draws your attention every time you step in the pen. Whether it’s her clean top line or her striking femininity, this heifer is one to watch.

We think she’s a neat one with tons of potential—an ideal prospect for any junior looking for a competitive edge at CCYA or down the road on the show circuit. She’s already been off the farm to a few shows and absolutely loves the spotlight. With her quirky personality. She is fresh as a daisy and is only going to keep getting better.

Sunrise Nirvana 13N is one of those that was born to be adored from day one. She’s a lover of attention and it seems that every day, with every structural development she becomes more worthy of the admiration. Her mom is one of our best uddered cows and at last count, Revelation was up to 323 direct progeny. Who hasn’t sat ringside, secretly picked the one they would place first, only to realize of course, she’s a Revelation? That’s Nirvana we believe. Certain to make a front pasture female that could also be fun for a few years on the show road.

This is a heifer calf you don’t want to overlook! In one word, “Stylish”! Nicky is a strong, long-sided heifer with great eye appeal. This is our first crop of RBM Keystone calves, and we are extremely pleased with both the heifer and bull calves. On the dam side, this one goes back to Tyson’s foundation cow, Amabec Buttercup. A great cow line that has worked well for Tyson.

Blackbern Farm would like to reserve show rights on the heifer calf until the end of the 2025 show season.

A fancy made female who is a flush mate to a top heifer calf that sold in last year’s sale to Luc Cormier from New Brunswick. She is long sided and smooth made with that extra look to her; she’ll compete in the show ring and make a great momma cow. For any juniors looking for a 4-H or CCYA project, she is a great choice. Please give us a call to discuss how we can help.

Easy doing, quiet Crossfire heifer that we are very fond of. Very nice neck extension gives her that feminine appearance. She is a deep barreled and sound footed heifer. Enjoy her as a 4-H project next year or have her join your herd. Endless Options…Endless Possibilities

Csigned by KIRLENE CATTLE

Future 4-H project in the making! Karen has to admit that she ran out of time to work with the Nadia and her dam (also in the sale), but much to her surprise and delight they were absolute dreams to work with. This LT Combat daughter has the style and muscle expression that will make her a very desirable prospect.

Blackbern Farm would like to reserve show rights on the heifer calf until the end of the 2025 show season.

If you are looking for an outcross pedigree for your herd, this Full French heifer should be on your radar. She is so long spined and explosive in her muscle pattern with great neck extension. She is a bull maker through and through! Her dam is still in her prime at 11 years old and shows no sign of slowing down. Longevity is bred into this female on both sides of her pedigree, with her sire being out of our donor female PCFL 10Z who is still an active producer and as youthful as the day she came!

Here is a 2-year old’s first effort! A Cobain out of a Geddes and as nicely muscled as you would expect from this breeding. Niagara is from our strongest maternal line. Her granddam is a Gold Star Dam of Distinction who is still in our herd at 12 yrs of age, with excellent feet and udder. Her great granddam was just the same. Lots of potential for a long, productive career with this calf.

Noelle is a solid as they come. Her dam, Blackbern Cara 19C, is a tank and it’s easy to see that Noelle is following in her footsteps. Another RBM Keystone offering that easily comes to the top of the pen of heifers this summer.

Blackbern Farm would like to reserve show rights on the heifer calf until the end of the 2025 show season.

Sunrise Nightwish 4N is quiet, structurally correct and packed with performance and style. Limitless was the Player’s Club Champion a couple of years ago, and this year was our first look at what he could do. From our perspective, whether male or female, he’s been knocking it out of the park on our farm! As for her mom, Kharma is one of our Mr. Outrageous daughters and she has a beautiful udder and stands out in the pasture with that strong, thick and attractive presence that just always catches your eye. Nightwish is one that we believe is certain to write her own incredible story in time.

Here is a female that is the total package, coming from one of our top cow families, she is backed by generations of cow power. She is as sound made as they come and is loaded with muscle but still has all the maternal attributes to be productive for years to come. With CCYA coming to Carp, Ontario next year, she would make a great project for any junior that is looking for that next great female, and we would love to help get her ready.
