James is a seasoned mechanical engineer and Florida resident with a strong background in operations management and sales. He has worked in industrial manufacturing environments over the past 14 years, having led large operations teams, construction crews, and sub-contractors in the field as well serving manufacturing customers and helping them solve their biggest challenges. Outside of his professional career, James has launched several start ups, worked in machine shops running heavy equipment, and provided engineering services for his customers including the city of New Orleans. As someone with experience in engineering, operations, and sales, James has the background, attitude, and energy to step in and take small businesses to the next level by applying his skillsets. In additional to helping the business grow, his top priorities are maintaining its reputation, culture, and ensuring the employees are well taken care.
Business Criteria
We are looking for businesses that meet most of or all the following criteria:
Greater Tampa/St. Pete, Orlando, and Cocoa, FL areas (<1hr from each)
Professional and consumer services, manufacturing, and specialty construction
SDE: $500k - $2M
Asking Price: $1.5M - $8M
At least 7 years old with a track record of consistent revenues.
Avoiding general contracting or businesses with significant exposure to custom new construction, no management in place, or high customer concentration (>20%)
Avoiding e-commerce, software, medical related, restaurants/bars, & retail
Seller seeking retirement or liquidity, preferring a committed buyer to maintain legacy and employee care
Existing layer of management currently in place
