▶ There is open skating in the Winter Sports Building! Open skate dates are listed on the Jamestown Parks and Rec Department website and on the Winter Sports Building Facebook page.
▶ Jamestown has cross country ski trails at McElroy Park. Skis are available to rent at the McElroy Park Warming House near the hockey rink (dependent on snow conditions).
▶ There is a Literacy Lane at Solien-Denault Park and Meidinger Park that features a children’s book. Walk the paved pathway and read the story and follow the activity prompts. Stories are changed on a regular basis.

▶ Do you offer swimming lessons? Yes, Two Rivers Activity Center offers swim lessons throughout the year. More information and dates are listed on the TRAC website, tracjamestown.com.
▶ Is there a dog park in Jamestown? Yes, Peppers Dog Park consists of approximately 2 acres, located at 103 13th ST. SW. Peppers Dog Park consists of two fenced in areas for small and large dogs. Water and doggie pots are available.
▶ Are there hiking trails in Jamestown? Do you have maps? Yes! We have a lot of hiking and biking trails in and around Jamestown. There are maps available at the Parks Office, Two Rivers Activity Center and on the JPRD website.
